We are very satisfied with the installation of our new roof. Everybody we spoke to at Findlay were very professional, knowledgeable and did their best to meet our expectations. The job was done as promised, in one day and at a competitive price.

I contacted Findlay last year as part of an overall renovation project. When it came time to do the entire roof(s) replacement, our budget was exhausted. After deciding to delay the roof work until the end of this year, a leak developed. I was grateful to be fit in to the schedule in a matter of days. The crew that started the job left damaged siding and put off completion for several days. I was very disappointed. I called and was connected to Nicole who had been on vacation when my job was planned. She was outstanding!! Things happen that should not cause people to get angry rather, calmly communicate and work through the issue. Findlay came through!! I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation to you, your company and your employees for promptly stepping up to address the issues associated with / during our recent roof replacement. I was very impressed with your commitment to assure my satisfaction. Your second crew arrived on time and early as promised and were very courteous, friendly, professional and dedicated to the task at hand. They immediately started the job and were as careful as possible not to damage any other pieces of siding. It was obvious to me the moment I saw their work, when they asked me to come up on the roof, that they really took pride in their work and cared about making sure the job was done correctly. You have salvaged an unfortunate situation and I will remain a happy customer. Job well done!!

I recently contacted Findley Roofing to provide an estimate on a roof repair. We had a leak around a skylight and thought that it needed the flashing replaced. I couldn't even get past the receptionist in order to get an estimate. She told me that they will not do repairs on a roof over 15 years old (ours is 16 yrs), and that they didn't do skylights. If we had a new roof, the odds are that we wouldn't need a repair job. We ended up using a small company that was recommended on our Neighborhood Forum. They inspected our roof and confirmed that, for now, all that was needed was to replace the flashing and shingles around 2 of our skylights. They did an excellent job. No more leaks, even in heavy rain, and our roof should last several more years before needing a full replacement. . It may be a logical business decision to focus on high return/low risk jobs, but in a few years when we need to fork out thousands for a whole new roof and skylights, it won't be Findley Roofing that we call.

Started and finished the job on time. They worked very will with our insurance company, and even got them to agree to cover the cost of the job after the insurance company had denied our claim the first time. Highly recommend!

I was extremely pleased with Findlay Roofing. We had a complete roof removal, disposal and replacement. In addition, Findlay installed all new gutters, downspouts and replaice some damaged fascia and soffit wood. We were kept informed at each stage of the project. We were told the precise days the team would show and approximately how long the work would take. In each instance, the team showed, performed expertly and offered to answer any questions I had. I have recommended Findlay to several friends and collegues. They are exceptional. I would not hesitate to use them again. Great company Great value.

The communication was great. When someone called to tell me when something was going to happen, it happened. The cleanup was what we were most impressed with. They were amazing and very professional. I have already recommended them to two of my neighbors. We are very pleased.

We asked before we signed the roofing agreement if all workers were Findlay employees. We asked if all the workers that would be on our property were legal in the U.S. Findlay showed us workers compensation insurance but we learned that what they showed us doesn't cover the workers because they are NOT, Findlay employees. To make matters worse, 6 men on the crew were illegal immigrants, only the driver and crew supervisor were legal. We did our homework, we learned that the workers compensation was not valid for any of the workers who worked on our roof. Since they are illegal workers, they are not subcontractors either. We were sickened to learn that even though they were illegal workers, we could have been sued if someone got hurt or killed on our property. Very disappointed in Findlay, they lied to us and put us at risk. When the Mr. ------ came to see roof and do estimate, he told us that all Findlays crews are Findlays crews. When did our homework we learned none of the crews were emloyees, they called them subcontractors. But if the workers on the crews are illegal, how can they be subcontractors? It all seems very fishy, the lady in their office stated does not employ or use illegal workers, she lied. So if they are illegal, they don't pay ga taxes or federal taxes? Further infuriates us as we pay taxes pay for insurance and Findlay lied to us, put illegal workers in our property, and put us at a huge risk. How do we know how safe we are?
Replaced our roof.

As with any roofing company in Georgia, we use a subcontractor crew to perform the roof installations. We state this in the folder you were provided at the time of the estimate. These crews go through a strict training program as well as regular quality control inspections. Our crews only work for us (most have been with us exclusively for well over 10 years!) and are covered by their workers comp as well as ours and an additional layer of General Liability insurance that we carry so the workers were covered on your property. Legally, this relationship is with the crew supervisor only and he must provide us with a list of those that work for him, which we then check. Many crews lose guys and gain guys as quickly as the wind blows or another sub is willing to pay them $20 more per day. He did not update us on his crew changes. His crew did good work, but because of not being completely honest about the make-up of his crew, he is no longer working with Findlay Roofing. I'd be more than happy to discuss this topic with you in detail if you prefer: 770-516-5806 Thank you for helping to bring this to our attention - Tony
