My husband and I were visiting for a conference in Atlanta and had received an overwhelming amount of hospitality from the local fire depts and community while visiting the area. If they go above and beyond for out-of-towners, I can't imagine what they do for their community. Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

Firehouse is the best kept secrets in the city...probably the country. They have no advertising but have the best sandwiches ever. Everything this steamed allowing the meats to keep thier full flavor...the ham is so sweet and tender!! The people are great!! It can get crowded around lunch time and seating is limited but if you havn't been, you must go. Parking is very limited given the other eating places in the plaza. And if you sign up at their website, they'll send you a coupon for a free medium sandwich on your birthday. The sandwiches are significantly larger then those offered at other sandwich shops.

Firehouse has the best subs on the planet!!! I'm serious. I've never had one better and I'm a huge fan of Publix subs and Jimmy John's subs, which are totally better than Subway and Jersey Mike's and Quizno's. This particular location does have parking problems and the subs are a little more expensive than Subway, but it's totally worth it. I'm a fan of their marketing motif, as well. Firehouse Subs gets 5 stars, this location 4.
