I have been taking my cars to Firestone's downtown location for 15 years. The primary reason is Vic, the manager. He is honest and I can always count on the "straight story". I took my car in recently and self-diagnosed the fact that I needed a front-end alignment because my car was pulling to the right. I thought he would just write it up and take it in. Instead, he said, let's take a look. He looked for a minute and said, "Here's your problem. You have a tiny nail in the tire, the pressure is low, and it's causing it to pull to the right. $16.00 and 30 minutes later, I was on my way. I will continue to reward service like that when it comes to my big purchases. It's tempting to save a couple of bucks on a set of tires, but, there is more to auto maintenance than the lowest price. I say let's keep the honest guy in business. We know we can count on him in the long run.

I take my car to Firestone on "C" Street mainly because they are close to my home and office. The repairs are usually not complete within the time promised. In two instances, they did missed a problem and I had to bring my car back in to get it fixed shortly after they delivered the vehicle. To their credit, they did not charge me the additional labor to make the repairs and one time gave me a ride to an appointment that I would have missed because my car was not ready.
