I had a belt break right in front of this Firestone. I took the car in and they replaced both belts at a reasonable charge. However, the belts were squealing terribly, so I took the car back. After sitting around for 2 hours, they came in and told me I needed an A/C compressor and all the connectors, valves, hoses, etc., replaced. They said it would be about $1500. I questioned them about every aspect of this issue, when finally the service man went back into the garage and in a few minutes brought my car around. He said he "fixed" it. I asked him how, and he said the belts had not been tightened properly when installed and he fixed them... no charge, he said. Better than the $1500 they wanted to do work that didn't need to be done. Crooks.

Well, well, well... Exactly what those below warned about. I have had the lifetime alignment with these folks for 3 years and used it twice. Yesterday, I went in to use it for the 3rd time... was told that I had damaged/bent tie rods = $430 to fix. I called around and found a highly reputable repair shop in Cumming. They quoted $245 out the door to fix. Took it to them and received a call within an hour... "There is absolutely nothing wrong with the tie rods. I don't feel that it would be ethical to change something that isn't in need of fixing."

Had a valve cover replaced to fix an oil leak. Didn't fix it, they then said it would cost another $1,000 to replace the timing chain cover (which would involve removing the entire engine from the car). I brought it to Gary's Performance Auto in Roswell for a secod opinion who said the timing chain cover was fine and the oil leak was from Firestone not putting all of the bolts back in the valve cover! Cost me next to nothing to fix. Go to Gary's for honest auto work and forget about these firestone clowns...
