I called to set up an appointment for an estimate on a repair from the recent storms and the woman who answered the phone said "There is a minimum charge of $495 for fence repair did you still want us to come out?" Of course I said "No Thank You". What customer NO service. Having a minimum for fence repair. I sure won't be recommending them for my neighbors who want to get a privacy fence put up.

I had First Fence of Georgia install an 8 ft high, 330 ft Scalloped Fence w/ 6x6 Dado posts around the back of my home in Alpharetta. My new fence is out of this world. I am so pleased with the finished product; I can't wait to show it off. As a business owner myself I know what makes a company succeed, I quickly recognized the integrity and first class support First Fence offers. Eddie Miller was very professional and their customer relations were top notch. I shopped their competition and quickly found out they are the best! I can't say enough about First Fence, they are truly old-fashioned in that they give excellent service and products at a very competitive price which is something that is extremely hard to find these days in the Atlanta area. Thanks for a great job guys and I look forward to spreading the word about your company. Please feel free to use me as a reference.

We selected First Fence based on reviews here on Kudzu. We were not disappointed. The estimate was thorough and they were able to accommodate a last minute change of added an additional gate. The installers were able to do better than we thought on the initial walk-thru about saving trees. We would highly recommend them for any fencing project.

We have used First Fence twice now...once for a 4' H. picket fence, and once for a 6' H. privacy fence. Both installations went very well, the crew was fast, courteous, and they did a pretty good job. However, the standard Type B privacy fence that was installed was surprisingly flimsy and unattractive. This type of fence is best suited for the back of a large piece of property where plenty of landscaping will hide it, not intown between two very close lots. If you are looking for a functional wood fence at a great price, then First Fence is awesome! But if you are looking for a high-quality decorative fence, be sure to make that very clear to your salesperson!

The sales process at 1st Fence is great - we had an estimate to put our fence up very quickly. It's getting an actual time frame to install the fence that's forever. Not only that, but now we have boards that are warped and curling - we'll have to schedule a service call, which will probably take forever! Another problem is the latch on the gate - it's really poor quality. We've had to get the latch serviced once, and it still doesn't work quite right.

From the initial call to the finished product, working with First Fence was a fantastic experience! Our Sales Rep Randy Gamble was by far the most professionnal and consultative of all 5 companies we called for estimates. He was the only person who continued to follow up with me and seemed like he was the only one who wanted our business. The crew that installed the fence all spoke english and were very polite and respectful. The fence was finished in the time that was allotted and the finished product is the best looking in the neighborhood. We are extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and the quality of the finished product. First Fence is a must call if you are considering a fence. All 5 companies we called had high ratings on Kudzu and none of them comapred. Thanks Randy!!!

I just had these come out and install a 5' cedar, picket fence in our back yard. It was a pleasure doing business with them. From Randy, the salesman, to the sales manager, to the install crew, they all were awesome.

I am on the Board of Directors for my homeowner's association and we are in the middle of having our fences replaced by First Fence. Lee Tuck has been our contact and so far everything has gone flawlessly. Lee even came to speak directly to our homeowners before the project started, and let them know what to expect. And the few pieces of fence that weren't exactly as expected, were quickly fixed to our satisfaction. I will update this review when the project is done, but so far First Fence has been great.

I called this company to get an estimate for a fence. When the sales person came out they were more interested in telling me what was wrong with all the other fence companies then telling me why I should choose theirs. That's just rude and underhanded. It was a complete turn off. Needless to say I am going with another company.

We try to help our prospective customers understand the available choices, both in terms of fence type and style. We feel it is important to review our warranty and services with prospective customers. Our intent is not to employ scare tactics or be negative, but rather to help the consumer make an informed decision.
The salesman was prompt, curteous and helpful. Installation went on schedule and they were done in one day. The install crew spoke english and were very polite. My mistake was taking pine instead of cedar. The pine does not look as nice, so now I will have to stain it, but the sales man did warn me! I would highly recommend them.

They performed the work right on schedule (they actually arrived 15 minutes early). Our salesperson, Stephen Wright, spent a lot of time helping me decide which type fit our needs. The install crew did a fantastic job, and they cleaned up ALL of the debris.

Once you accept a type of fence, the salesman kept selling and selling to my great annoyance. How about upgrading to cedar? how about adding another gate here? how about this and that? it'll just be a couple of dollars - "a couple of hundreds, if not thousands" rather. The staff is very unfriendly and only cares about your money, and not about providing a quality product.

We believe it is our responsibility to make our customers aware of all of the options that are available to them when choosing their fence type and style. Our ultimate goal is to provide a fence that best meets our customers' needs in function, design and cost.
they did a great job on our fence. The initial time was 2 days, it took them less than 1 day to complete our fence. The look of the fence is great. In addition, they warranty the fence for lifetime.

First Fence of Georgia did a great job - our fence is BEAUTIFUL, very high quality, and everyone in the neighborhood has asked who built our fence. They were also very accommodating with dates as we were trying to get the fence built in order to adopt a dog. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who wants a quality fence built. They also guarantee their work.
