Our visit to Fish Bones was a bit of a disappointment. We had heard such great things about it that we decided to go there for our anniversary. It is located in a bad spot for trying to get in and out of the parking lot. After having to turn around and come back just to get across traffic, we had to do valet parking if we wanted to be anywhere near the restaurant. We had made reservations, but when we arrived, we were told that it would be a little longer than expected. That little longer turned into a 20 minute wait. When we were finally escorted to our table, it was a cramped little table in a back room near the drink stand. Definitely very unromantic. An enormous, loud party was seated directly across from us and we could hardly get in or out of our seats. We ordered and our salads arrived, which were very good. I asked for butter for the bread, which never arrived even though I asked twice. When our meals arrived, my husband's all-you-can-eat shrimp were very good, but there were only a few on the plate. He ordered more, which took an exceptionally long time and they only brought 3 more! My steak was supposed to be medium well and arrived medium rare. I sent it back and eventually got it back overdone but still tasty. Of course, by that time my potato and vegetables were ice cold - they did not replace them. When we got our check, it had errors which were corrected reluctantly. Needless to say, we will not go back!
