I tried to join this gym because several of my friend have memberships and they recommended it. I am a military wife and mother of 3. When my husband is not deployed he works all the time. I have no one to watch my children for me. They refused to let me join because the limit on children is 2! Even though they have made exceptions for others, they refused to work with me.

This is in response to Barney5's review of Fitness 19. I remember the conversation and I apologized multiple times that day and apologize again today. With that being said we do offer a kid's room service that is FREE to our members and our policy is that a member cannot bring in more than 2 kids with them at a time. We do allow parents who both are members and are both working out at the same time to bring in 2 kids each.
In very rare cases we have had members call in advance and ask our management to be allowed to bring in more than 2 kids at a time. If they were told they could, they were also notified that if the room filled up they would be the first to be called to leave. But again those were rare cases.
With the Las Vegas economy the way it is believe me we are not refusing to enroll people at our facility by any means, but I would rather be upfront about our policies before we accept payment from people.
Again I apologize and if your childcare situation changes in the future I would hope you would consider our faciltiy.
Great gym, friendly staff. Great selection of equipment. I love this gym because average people from all age groups work out here. No intimidating meat heads running around and grunting. A perfect relaxing atmosphere to work out in. They also offer personal trainers at great prices.

Fitness 19 has a wonderful staff that gets to know you if you are a regular attendee. The kids room is free for 6 months or older and the women and young ladies that work there really like working with the children. My daughter has been in the Kids Room for the last 3 months and has not had one problem while in there. The gym is the basic cardio machines: treadmills, bikes, olipticals, and stair climbers. They have a nice selection of cable and weight machines as well as free weights. If you can live without a pool, spa, and classes this gym would work for you.
