I know I'm in the majority here. I think I'm the only one who doesn't like this place, or so it seems. Even my husband loved this place (of course he went before we met as I will never step foot in there again!). It started off with their shrimp with sizzling rice soup - they put KETCHUP in their soup! Ketchup???!!!! I actually ASKED the waiter why the soup was RED like that and that is what he told me. I'm used to having sizzling rice soup and it always comes in a clear chicken-broth soup! YUCK! That was enough to ruin our meal, but then it got worse. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly dark meat which is highly unusual for this type of dish, and it was chewy. Seems like it was a bit overcooked or perhaps from yesterday's menu! Yuck. I finally found some decent Chinese in the NOLA area, but I had to drive across the Causeway to that wonderful Trey Yuen!

Consistantly good food, clean restaurant and friendly staff. Portions are generous and food served hot. Brown rice is available at no extra cost, dishes can be prepared without oil and MSG. Private room available for small (10-14 pax) party.

Excellent food, great service and affordable prices. What more can you ask for? I love their conbination fried rice, their eggrolls are outstanding and their sweet and sour soup is out of this world.

Five Happiness is the best chinese restaurant on the southshore. I love their sweet and sour shrimp. Their service is excellent and food is yummy! They really did a great job on the remodeling of their restaurant.
This Restaurant is very good and the delivery sevice is great. The price is reasonable for dining. The only problem that I have with this restaurant is the location. It is located in a highly congested traffic location.
