I never had the guts to try oyster, but when I was invited to this restaurant I decided it was a great opportunity to overcome my "fear". I actually had a great experience and enjoyed the oyster taste. The restaurant is very nice and the staff too. They also have other food options on the menu, but you gotta order oyster, it is very tasty. Light dinner, great to start the night.

This place is fun. Various types of oysters are offered with lots of other menu items- something for everyone: muffletta, even tater tots!! Great servers, lots of bar seating. Awesome music but gets loud at night...beer specials.

I don't like oysters but this is a cool place. It is cool to watch the guys shucking oysters at th bar. I found plenty to eat and I do not like seafood. i will definitely go back.

If you are looking for good raw oysters, there is no where better in Atlanta than Fontaine's. They oysters are always fresh and hit the spot! Plus they have a great deck out back for when the weather is nice.

With Steamhouse Lounge closing it's door this past summer, Fontaine's has fed my oyster habit. They're owned by the same folks, so it's no wonder they're both tasty, reasonable, and have great service. There's a great balcony out-back, and even though it doesn't look over the Buckhead scene, it satisfies the outdoor dining urge.

I typically love this place and take my father every time he visits for fresh oysters and great jambalaya. You can even eat oysters as they shuck 'em. They also have a great patio to enjoy nice weather as you eat. However, last night, a roach crawled across my dinner table and the only way the manager handled it was to sweep up the carcus, move us to the bar, and seat another clueless couple in our bug booth. Gross.

The oysters here are fantastically cheap and yummy. Owned by the same people that own Steamhouse, Fontaine's is nicer, but still has that comfortable feel. Hang out at the bar or on the lovely back deck, your experience to guaranteed to be pleasant.
