We had such a good experience here with Daniel, that he is going to be our go-to groomer for our four small, furry babies--two are special needs dogs. A nearby groomer kept "barking" at me about how "difficult" one of them is, and insisted we bring her on "quiet" days. We had never had this complaint before; she is 10 and has arthritis, the poor little thing. So, we tried The Fur Side. He did such a good job with them, and said she was no big problem at all. I was relieved that I've found someone who has compassion for her and her brother, who is sick. He is very busy, so it is sometimes difficult to get an appt, but it's worth the wait.

Hi. I'm Edgar the Cat. The profile pic is my crazy brother! The nice man grooms me and he is very gentle and sweet. I'm a mellow kitty and I behave well, but I'm getting kinda old and he always handles me with love and care. Thank you, meow, meow.

We take our 3 dachsunds to The Fur Side in Decatur regularly. Daniel, the owner, always takes good care of them. He's a really nice guy, too--he's always pleasant and ready to talk about your pet's needs--or even yours! I haven't been to many other groomers in Atlanta, but The Fur Side's prices seem fair to me. Let's face it--unless you groom your pet yourself, keeping him/her looking good costs money. However, there are some things we can't do, and Daniel provides great service at a fair price. I highly recommend The Fur Side in Decatut, and I have no reason to believe that his Atlanta location is any less pleasant.

Brandi did a nice job grooming my cat. She also accommodated my schedule and let me come in on a day that she normally doesn't take cats. $40 is a little too expensive, though, for 15 minutes, especially when I stay and hold my cat.
