I cancelled my service with G & C on Aug 12 and was told by one of their customer service reps that my trash can would be picked up on Aug 16. It is now Aug 20 and it still has not been picked up. This is consistent with the horrible service that I have received from G & C over the past several months. I have had my recycle can left at the curb and not emptied on the scheduled day, and it sat there for 3 days before it was finally picked up. Two weeks ago my can was filled with 8 inches of rain water. I could hardly move it. I had to dump the water out late at night when I got home. Their customer service reps are useless! They either throw your call on hold without talking to you, or they give you false information. I have called the company at least 4 times over the past couple months with complaints. When I asked for a discount on my next bill because of all the problems, I was told "We don't do that." G & C has definitely gone downhill in the past year.

Many times, including today, the recycle guys will leave me a big mess. They'll miss the truck, ya that big thing, with part of the tubs materials, leave it on the street, walk away and leave the mess for me. Many times too they'll dump recycling and garbage together. Why then should I take the time to sort it? Guess you get what you pay for!
