I love their desserts. When ever there is a birthday or special occasion, I jump at going to Gabriel's. Even just getting the petite cakes on my way home from work sometimes, just hits the spot.

My wife just had to eat at Paula Dean's Cousin's Place. I kept thinking, this will be a place only a woman would love. Boy was I wrong! They will serve you meat and veggies and then give you amazing dessert to go with it.... I am a man's man but i will not be ashamed to take one of those amazing Little White lady desserts! A+ Gabriels!

My daughter's 18th birthday was on a Saturday. We had ordered a cake from a Bakery in Marietta and they lost our order. I remembered that while eating lunch at Gabriels they had amazing desserts. I quickly called the day of my daughter's birthday and asked if they could help in this emergency! Quickly they dashed in and got me a cake made. It was beautiful and had an amazing taste. Kudo's to the gals at Gabriels.

Johnnie is famous for her cakes and desserts, and it is easy to see/taste why. She puts quality ingredients and lots of love into everything she prepares. Having moved to a much larger location, she now offers yummy comfort food, sandwiches, soups, etc. for both lunch and supper: eat in or take out.

I have been here when it was awesome - great tea, hot fried okra and delicious pasta salad. Butu I have hit it a few times when the food was cold. Sometimes at dinner it truly tastes like leftovers. Be prepared to go a couple of times inc ase you are disappointed the first time. It is usually crowded and has great potential. But they need to make sure it is good every time!!

I have spoken with the owner a couple of times so I went in to check the place out. The inside was great and their selection was above average. However, my main interest was ordering a cake and I stood there for 15 minutes with not one of the 5 employees working behind the counter even looking up at me! None of them seemed to care that people were waiting with questions and a women next to me complained that they were always so slow. I ended up leaving without having spoken to a single worker and ordered my cake from Publix. I will not go back but it looked like they had some good foods and baked goods- if you can get somebody to help you- you might like it.

I ordered the roasted chicken and had dark meat and the chicken was extremely dry. I might try something else next time. Their combo is a pretty good deal - $7 for meat, two sides, and a drink.

I have tried this place twice.I was not impressed either time. The first time I got a sandwich. It was dry and skimpy on the meat,NOTHING SPECIAL.The next time I got a meat and three.Again not that good. I will say that the desserts were very good. Think church picnic, very southern. In fact the only place better would be from home.

I requested a very difficult dessert and they exceeded my expectations in every detail. When I picked up the cake I had to wait a few minutes and the staff did everything possible to make me important and that they were very sorry about my inconvience.

I don't know how they do it, but this is the best Meat and Two Veg. place in the world. I've never left this place without a smile on my face. It can get a little crowded, but the food is so good, you can understand why.

Excellent place for lunch because the food is delicious and the desserts are to die for. Beautiful cakes. Yummy sandwiches. They are always busy so be prepared to wait in line a few minutes but fast service and worth the wait.

We recently ordered a cake from Gabriels. The decorating was not done as specified. I had asked for a BIG number 1 on the cake and I asked for festive and colorful decorations specifying red, green, yellow and blue as the colors. The cake did not have a big number 1 - just a normal size in the writing. The border was not festive or colorful - there was no red used on the cake. Plus, they put 4 bees on the cake - which I never asked for. The red velvet cake lacked taste to me and I was very disappointed that I paid so much money for a cake that I was so disappointed with.
