I have been looking for a place to get a solar fill that wouldn't break the bank. I was told that Henry did a good job. I requested him but he was busy and unable to take me. There was a lady there that offered to do them. I should have known better the place was busy and there was no one near her. She was rude, fast, and sloppy. It was the worst fill I have ever had. I have had acrylic nails on and off for years and trust me this was horrible. She was so sloppy that the top gel coat was all over my fingers and I had to pick it off. My nails lifted within the first 3 days and I had to have them taken off they were so horrible. When she was done they looked like gigantic Chiclets on the end of my fingers. Also they were not clean at all. I always look for these things and the cleanliness was terrible also. The drills were dirty, the working areas were dirty. All in all it was not clean at all. So in closing do not go here EVER! Its not worth the time, money or health risk

I've been going to Galaxy since they opened and I've always had a GREAT experience. I've recently moved but I still drive from Northern Cincinnati just to get my nails done at Galaxy! The employees are extremely friendly and always remember your name, you're offered a beverage while you relax (Coke, Diet Coke, bottled water), and they always do a high quality job on manicures and pedicures. The prices are very reasonable as well. Galaxy Nails is far superior to most of the standard "strip mall" nail salons.

I wish I had seen the last review. I went and got my nails done over the weekend and they are already separating. The top layer is already worn off and I have an air pocket in another nail. I am now looking for a new place as I need to get 4 nails redone!! Don't go to Galaxy. You'll waste your money.

Very disappointed. I called prior to going and asked if the did Gel Nails. I very specifically stated that I wanted Liquid Gel and no Powder. I was told that they did the liquid. I asked again, "you do not use any powder?" and was told "No, only liquid." I asked the price for a fill and was told $18. So I went after work. Once they had my nails buffed, she pulled out the powder. I explained that I wanted the liquid. She said the liquid is at the end AFTER the powder. I told her that I had called and was told that they used liquid. She wouldn't budge. Unfortunately since she had already taken the top level of my nails off I had no choice but to take the powder. In the end I went to pay and she charged me $25. I explained to her that I was told it would be $18. Again, she said that the price was $25. So, not only did I not get what I was told I would get, I was over charged. On top of it all, she did a crappy job. I have uneven nails and bumps. I will have to go to someone tomorrow to pay again and have them fix the poor job that was done today. Double check before you let them do the work.

I have been to Galaxy twice and both times I was helped immediately by very friendly employees, the price is on the lower side which is great and my nails looked awesome both times. This will be my new nail salon!
