My garage door spring went out two days before Thanksgiving as all my family was arriving. I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of calling. Shaun came out and had me up and running quickly. He's very polite and efficient. Thanks!

While it took a few days to be called to schedule an appt, they did have next day available. Shaun came out, even called first, and took care of everything the same day! He was very polite and knew his job!

I was very impressed with the way Shaun took care of our garage door opener. It turned out we had a blown fuse & he went to the store & bought a replacement since he had just run out before he got to our place, this way he was able to get us back up & running that day. I appreciated that very much!

Shaun was our repair person. He did even more than expected, was very professional, courteous and his customer service was excellent. He definitely knows and understands garage doors.

Just had a new spring installed for my problematic door. Jeff Merkel took the time to explain why I needed the spring and really went out of his way to make sure I was happy and understood the process. I would highly recommend this company, ask them to send Jeff Merkel he is great!

Originally went in for a replacement spring, but ended up getting a new conversion kit. It was a little more than I planned on spending, but well worth the expense. The staff was very courteous and professional. Jeff did an outstanding job installing the new system. He completed the job quickly (less than 45 minutes), answered all my questions, and even aligned and adjusted the new system. He was very knowledgable, professional, and couteous. Great job - thanks!

I received excellent service today to fix a problem with the gear in the garage door opener motor at my house. The technician Jeff (I didn't get his last name) was professional & courteous. Jeff Merkel was our technician. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed our problem. He gave us the cost upfront and provided us with the different options available to us. He finished within 5 minutes and was professional and pleasant. We will use this company again.

(10-20-10) Shawn L. came to the house after I waited until 2PM for a service person to show up - I had appt between 10AM and 1PM. I called at 2PM and was told my appt was for the next day; yet I had had two phone calls with/from Garage Door Enterprises on 10-19-10 confirming that the appt was for 10-20-10. Once past that frustration, the company quickly found someone who could come to my house within the 1/2 hour. Shawn was very pleasant, performed a full examination of my door, listened to my concerns about the operation of the garage door and suggested various corrections & assoc. costs. The cost of the correction I selected was covered by the price of the service call. Shawn also gave me the name of the lubricant he used and the cheapest way to buy some of my own. I am very satisfied with the repair and will call them again when I need garage door service -- but I'll be certain to call on the day scheduled for service to be sure I'm on the books for that day. I would have rated them higher had they offered a discounted price of the service call after I waited 4 hours because of a problem on their end.

Twice i have had the pleasure of letting garage door enterprises service my garage. Once was a door replacement 2 years ago. I chose garage door enterprises because they've been in business for close to 20 years. I wanted someone that was going to be there for me if and when i needed help. My door arrived and after the installer had some questions and issues with the clearance for the door and the "mess" in my garage, i got to speak with the owner of the company himself who without me asking decided he could come by and look at these issues. He was at my house for 15 minutes. He told me that we could solve the issues and that my door would be in by the end of the day. It was, and it was not a "normal" or "easy" job. He stuck to the quote and i couldn't be happier with my new sectional door. The second time i have dealt with garage door enterprises, my opener didn't reverse just as my 3 year old daughter went running under the door. Luckily, i was able to grab her arm and drag her out just as the door was 10" from closing to the ground. Obviously this scared me so i called and asked for an inspection. GDE came out and told me that the old opener i had was unreliable and suggested i get a newer model with the "electric eyes" that automatically reverse the door if someone crosses its path. These work so well, i cant believe i waited all this time to upgrade. Professional service, honest business practices and they have a lifetime customer.
