We had Georgia Home Remodeling demolish our old deck and replace it with a new one. They did a great job and were very professional. Chris Allen, the owner, is highly responsive and is nice enough to call if there are going to be any delays on your job. The fact that these guys are busy when most home improvement companies are going out of business in this economy is a testament to the quality of work that they do.

I called Chris for a quote on a rental rehab. He had come highly recommended to me. He was able to look at the house and send me a detailed quote within two days. Chris was very helpful with suggestions, and had a very competitive price. Ultimately I went with another contractor for this particular job, but I will definitely keep Georgia Home Remodeling on my list for future projects!

Chris and his team met and/or exceeded our basement finishing expectations. Chris worked with us to breakdown each part of the basement completion so we could meet our budget. For example we did the painting and installation ourselves to save a few thousand dollars so it was affordable for us. We were very impressed by how flexible he was with all of our needs. Chris was also very responsive to any issue with feedback usually minutes/hours later. His estimates were all very reasonable and especially for the carpeting, it beat out home depot by approximately 20%. The sheetrock installation was flawless. A small negative was the payment of services. When we signed the contract Chris said he took Amex (so we could get back SkyMiles) as a form of payment which was one of the deciding factors for us for choosing GAHR but when the first payment was due, Chris said the Amex machine broke and wouldn't be back up so some time (at least 4 weeks). Besides that small issue, we have been enjoying our finished basement for the last few weeks and would definitely use GAHR for any other work in the future.

I had GHR paint the interior of our home and finish a couple of wall projects that we've never gotten done. This is the 2nd project I've had Chris' crew do for me and as usually they did a fantastic job. I'm very happy with their work and they are all just very nice guys. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. They are very reasonably priced and even do extra things that they aren't expected to do.

GHR totally remodeled our master bath, and we're extremely pleased with the results. Kevin, Mark, John, Tina, and Tony did meticulous work. In the process, they kept the mess under control and didn't leave behind any personal litter. We had a bit of an ordeal with our granite countertop, but that was due to a subcontractor's mistake, and Chris was tireless in mediating a fair solution to the problem. He had worked to get us a great price on the granite to begin with, so we really appreciate his help. At all times, Chris was responsive when we had questions or concerns, and he was always friendly, so working with him was easy. We would use GHR again, and we would recommend them to anyone.

Chris & his men did a great job. I felt like my home & the work they did for me was important to them. They were always on time & cleaned up at the end of each day. My freshly painted walls & ceilings are beautiful. The drywalling looks great. It was nice not to worry about anything because I knew I was in good hands. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

I just had my bath tub turned into a walk in tiled shower with glass doors. Chris and his men were great to work with and made sure I was satisfied with everthing. The work was finished on time. There was a small mess to clean up but no one is perfect. Yes I would use them again in the future I love my new shower. Eileen

Georgia Home Remodeling Company painted my house and provided the highest quality painting work with the best possible service. Furthermore, the job site supervisor managed the entire painting project from start to finish. These folks just completed a second task for me after doing a great job on the first project. I wanted to utilize the storage space in my attic, but I had no access to it. I called Chris, and asked if he would install a set of pull-down stairs to my attic. He gave me a good price, sent a crew out to my house who completed the job quickly and professionally. As with the first project, their clean-up was super. This is definitely a company I will do business with in the future.

Hired Chris to build garage in 04-08. Below are facts: -Contract stated 4 weeks: Actual job took 3 months. -I picked up 8 pounds of trash AFTER final clean-up. Daily garbage included cigarette butts, chicken bones, nails/screws, bottles, etc... -Final project >$1,000 over budget. -Almost every stage of build failed inspection at least once. -Chris attempted to overbill us - but corrected amount when confronted.

First of all, let us point out that this is the first and only, negative review on Kudzu about Ga Home Remodeling in over 2 years. Let the 50 reviews (6 pages) below this speak for themselves. We are also still ranked 5 OUT OF 5 STARS on Kudzu. As for this customer, we were hired on 02/08 not 04/08 as she states. Next, the contract stated 4 weeks and it did take 3 months. This is because nothing that we accomplished was ever completed to her satisfaction. On more than one occasion she tried to hire several of our employees and sub-contractors to do side jobs and she got upset when I asked her politely to not do this because it was unethical. We do not know how there was "8 pounds" of trash left on the job site when she released the FINAL payment AFTER she inspected the jobsite. There is no way we were $1,000 over budget when we removed approximately $4,000 off the signed contract price, because it did not "fit in her budget". We failed several inspections due to minor infractions, however, in the end all inspections passed. This is a testament to our company itself, as we complete every job we start. All in all,she had a bronze budget we delivered silver but she wanted gold. we would not have changed anything we did on her project we stand behind all of the decisions that were made in completing her project. We will continue to stay focused on meeting customer's needs and doing a great job for our past, present and future customers. - Chris Allen, Georgia Home Remodeling
GA Home Remodeling renovated a small hall bath for me, and I am very pleased with the results. They stayed in contact every step of the way, and I was impressed with their willingness to address all of my questions and concerns. I would definitely use them again.
