I was referred to Dr Gering for a cutting edge procedure in 2009 by my primary care . The VA had also recommended the procedure and it is currently standard care. Dr Gering was smug and unhelpful so I sought other help with my condition and I am currently being treated. I have lost friends to the late diagnosis of this same condition, and Gering scoffed at all the other opinions. He didn't mind charging my Medicare a lot of money for wasting my time with totally unrelated nutrition counceling. Since I am on a fixed income I cannot afford co pays to an arrogant young person who is behind the curve in his education. I would never trust him with surgery.
