I don't understand where the reviewer below got her perception, because the staff at Glamour Pets has been extremely kind to my dogs. I've taken my two small dogs to Glamour Pets for about a year now. Not only have they been very good w/ pricing, but they've also done an outstanding job with the quality of work provided. I couldn't afford the full price one time because of financial difficulty, and the owner took it down for me temporarily to help me out. I will keep going to Glamour Pets as long as I live in the area, and plan to refer all of my friends there as well. Keep it up!

This used to be a fun place and my dog loved coming here. Recently, I made an appointment with our usual groomer but when we got there, our girl was not there. Right away we could see that things had changed. Mid-morning and it was always busy with lots of dogs running and playing, but this time the place was completely empty and quiet. The woman inside introduced herself as the new owner. I told her I would come back when our regular groomer was in but the woman assured me that she had a lot of experience and asked if I would give her a chance to groom my little sweetie. I explained that I just wanted the usual trim and bath. When I went back to get her, my baby was sitting in the corner of a cage and not out playing as I was expecting. When the woman reached in to get her, she was shaking. I asked what happened but was told that nothing happened and that my dog was fine. After paying my bill (much higher than it used to be) my dog was still shaking. The haircut was a total butcher job, she looked a mess!! When we got home, she ran to her bed and didn't even want to eat. I don't know what they did to my baby and I will never know. The hair will grow back but she was traumatized and I hope she will get over that. We always loved coming here, the girls were always friendly and loving toward the pets and always got beautiful haircuts and good service. This time we got none of those things. We will never go back.

The groomers there are so down to earth and loving with the animals. It is great to see my dog push his way into the shop instead of fighting to get out. My golden retriever loks stunning when he is finished and his haircut lasts so much longer than other places we have gone. We wouldn't take our precious baby anywhere else.

I feel so horrible that the poor baby went through any discomfort as a result of removing the large mat that encompassed his entire underarm area. During the groom, he showed no fear or pain, however, this has been an ongoing problem with the pet owner not properly brushing the bichon out with a comb as instructed numerous times. Unfortunately, this time, he was very matted and his skin was irrated from the mats in his armpits and chest area. I used the standard #10 blade to removed them and the only evidence of injury was some bruising from the mat. Then the owners continued to take him on long walks and the friction caused redness and pain. The owner came to me a couple days later and I gave her some Skin Works to use on the area and told her to keep him quite for a couple of days to let it heal. This is a case of blaming the groomer for lack of coat care from the owner. I still love this dog and hope like crazy he finds a grooming situation he can live with.
Absolutely a great groomer. You can tell they love animals by the way they treat them. I recommend these folks to anyone who has ever had a concern or problem with groomers. Their prices are also good.....

I took my dogs to glamour pets after we had a very bad experience at another groomer in the area. When I talked to Stacy about how scared they were, she was so sweet and kind to them that my sheltie even gave her a kiss. That was amazing to me. The dogs looked great when I picked them up and they were wagging there tails and seemed so comfortable there that I will not take them anywhere else. Thank you for looking after my babies so well. And they smelled wonderful.

My dogs love to run into the salon and say hi to all the groomers. They give kisses and play and bark and have a great time. No stress, no dragging them in the door. And then they look soooo great when they are all pretty. Take your dogs to Glamour Pets. They will be treated like stars.

I am amazed that someone could be so upset by this that they would write a horrible review. So they took a while and your dog needed a drink when it got home. Its over 100 degrees outside. I have been going there for quite some time. they are always apologetic when they are behind. Usually they tell you that up front on busy days.the staff is wonderful and their prices are lower. I checked. Im sorry she felt so upset. I would heartily recommend them. the cuts are superb and they are great with all the animals I have seen. My 4 love them all and are there monthly. They offer bi-monthly and post card discounts.you cant beat that.

Our regularly groomed dog was kept for 6 hours for routine bath/cut. After bringing him home, he raced for the water bowl and drank the entire content! Patches of fur were not completely and properly cut, his nails were still sharp, and his ears also had clumps from not being brushed out. Overall, the service of this establishment is a low grade quality of grooming. High prices for poor services. Salon owner/staff were also rude when questioned about length of time to bath a dog and were not very customer friendly. Nor did we feel this salon pet friendly if it keeps pets that long(caged) without giving them any water! I would not recommend taking your beloved pet to this groomer.

I had been grooming this dog for over a year now. On the day before this incident, the owner called us and said she NEEDED the dog groomed ASAP. Being a long time customer, we agreed to "work the dog in" on a very booked schedule the next day. The dog had been at the shop for 4-1/2 hours, already bathed, and was on my grooming table when the owner came storming in the salon in a total huff. She was yelling so loudly that the business next door could here everything she said. Nobody from the salon raised their voices or was rude to her, as she wouldn't let anyone else speak. Their were 2 other customers in the lobby at the time they couldn't believe how she was acting. The dog was so aggitated and upset that he would not stand still. The dog would have been finished in 20 minutes, however, I told her I couldn't finish him because I was afraid he would get injured. This customer had never had a problem leaving her dog with us all day when they had errands and such to do, so I'm not sure why she was so upset when she had agreed to have the dog worked in. As for the water issue, this is an outright lie. I have a large watering dish with fresh water in it. The dogs are let down to get drinks between each phase of grooming. The pet owner was very happy with our grooming until this one incident. She had no problem with our prices or our treatment of her dog. Our prices are very competitive, if not lower than local shops and our customers and their precious pets are extremely happy to be with us.
