Diana does an excellent job cutting my short pixie cut. She's confident, professional, and skilled--and has a great sense of humor. Gloss pampers just enough and pays attention to the details. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable, and inclusive. The salon itself is spotless. The prices are a wee bit on the high side but reasonable, considering.

I'm so glad to have them in my neighborhood. I have seen a few different people and they seem to know their stuff. I always wait to get my hair done until the last minute, so I just go with whoever has an opening, and I always go away happy. I like it when they show me how to re-do my style. I found out a new way to use my curling iron that I never would've thought of. Reasonable prices. I like how open and clean the salon is. Definitely NOT a beauty parlor.

The first haircut I got at Gloss was OK. I didn't ask for much, just a trim- maybe this is why it was good. The second haircut was messy, not suited to my face, even though I showed the stylist a picture of me with the exact haircut I wanted and had before it grew out (which by the way looked good with my face). I asked for only a trim or the lower layers- my hair was halfway down my back before the cut and after it was nearly to my shoulders. The stylist paid more attention to talking with other customers while she was cutting my hair than listening to my feedback, and when I tried to get her to fix something she gave me attitude. This stylist was well recommended by the receptionist. I will not waste $50 on a haircut here again. I also got a free $35 value conditioning treatment with my cut- a holiday special or something- my hair gets better conditioning with Aussie's moist daily rinse. If you want to go then I hope you get a stylist better than mine. I may have just had bad luck, but for $50 I wouldn't risk it.
