I was a member of Montclair Fitness for a few years and liked it for a while, but it depends on what you are looking for. There is no pool and there are no classes, and I got bored after a while with the same routine. It also seemed like a lot of money- for the same amount you can go to a gym that has those things (I think the Courthouse is about the same and is a lot bigger). The atmosphere at Montclair Fitness is very friendly and I never had to wait for machines, though I would go in the afternoon, so I'm not sure what mornings are like. I know it opens very early. You can do a free week there and check it out. The guy who owns it, David, is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Golds Gym is the best. I love the people there and the classes. All of the personal assistants and professionals in the gym are very helpful and knowledgeable in special areas. The classes that i take are more specific to what i am looking for and their facility is wonderful and have a variety of equipment available that can help me reach my goal.
