This gym refuses to work with women who are experiencing a high risk pregnancy. I have since miscarried. Also having lost a job this year, we can no longer afford our membership. We cannot afford the cancellation fee and we cannot afford our monthly fee. Plus we found out that we are on 'Auto Renewal'. Refuse to give us the name, address and phone number of the owner (franchise). We regret joining Golds Gym.

I was scammed into paying on an extra membership on my account for a person I don't even know. I had to pay $25 per month for one year. Very deceptive sales tactics. I asked them to cancel this extra membership and was told by the manager, Joann, that I was stupid.

We used to enjoy the gym very much, it was very community oriented with a lot of activities for kids, etc. Since the new management has come in, our favorite long-time trainers have left, no more kids activities and the overall "feel" has changed. It's really a shame, this area needs the community center that this gym "used" to provide.
