I took this company to small claims court in 2006 after their moving truck hit my car and the company refused to pay (despite having witnesses). I won the case, and the company was required to pay damages. They have not paid to date (TWO YEARS LATER), even though I have put a lien on the business. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS - they are crooks!

I used this company about 5 years ago and they were great, so that's who I chose to make a recent move. They came on time and had a large enough truck, but spoke very little English. Several days later, going back to clean the house we moved from, I found hidden bottles of wine coolers that I had set out so I could clean the frig. Not only did they steal from me, they also had to drive the darn truck from point A to point B "under the influence." As the unpacking was slow in the new house, it took me awhile to discover that one of our televisions was missing. I can't prove they stole it, but I packed it myself in a tv box. That was probably my mistake.

I used GS movers about 3 years ago and for a 4 bedroom house, the crew showed up with 1 26 foot truck???? I was moving about an hour away from my current house and since the crew had to make TWO trips with one truck, I was forced to pay for all that transit time. The crew was lazy (except for one man) and rude. The move which was supposed to take no longer than 8 hours ended up being about 16 hours with the two trips. I ended up having to go through arbitration with the BBB for 6 months and ended up winning a pretty nice settlement for all the extra fees they charged as well as for all my damaged goods. As for damages, the crew told me of one item that was damaged and they were going to leave. I made them walk through the house for a full inspection and found 5 other items severely damaged. After the arbitration, all items were paid for and at least in the end, my move was bascially free except for the mental stress!

We used this company twice in a three month period. They first moved us to storage then into our new home. We did not unpack at storage, naturally. The same supervisor was responsible for both moves ( he doesn't work for them any longer ). Through their razzle-dazzle folding of moving blankets within the truck they manage to disguise the boxes or loose items they decide to steal. We are now 12 month after the last move and still discovering missing items. I had occasion to confront the supervisor and he never denied the theft. He was amazed that I knew, after the fact, how they managed to get by with the theft. If you use this company, which one would assume by their name was reputable, BEWARE.

Do not use this moving company. They damaged the woofers on two very expensive 6 ft speakers when they moved them. We submitted an insurance claim (we had taken full replacement insurance). They refused to pay because they said the speakers showed wear and tear and because they did not know that the speakers were working before the move. I guess we should have hooked up the stereo before we moved and played all the equipment for them and had the movers sign a paper saying everything was working!!! We know the speakers were working, other wise why pay to move them?? They were not brand new so of course they had wear and tear. We are suing this company to make them honor the insurance agreement. Also after they left, I found that a small jewelry box that I had unpacked and left sitting on the dresser was gone. I am convinced that one of the movers pocketed it. The company won't pay for that either because no one saw their mover take it. Avoid this company!!!
