They have nice hand crafted beer and serve great food. I love the fact that all their food is made from scratch (except for pasta). I am not a pizza lover, but I enjoy their pizza very much! The seasonal menu is worth trying too. The place is very lively and service is fast. There are no parking and they only have valet ($3 plus tip), but considering the fact it is located on PT and Fox Theater area, it is a good deal!

Our party of 7 went here for my 21st birthday. We made a 7:30 reservation on Friday July 3rd and it was pretty quiet, surprisingly. Cool, casual atmosphere, very good brew, & large portions of tasty food. Slightly pricey, but honestly when you factor in the portion sizes they dish up it's not bad. We had a very good waitress also. Crab & artichoke dip was delicious (especially the bread that went with it). GREAT teriyaki chicken (perfectly moist and flavored). Original, savory brews (try the sommerbrau or even get the sampler 5). Also the huge still out front makes for a fun photo-op. We enjoyed it!

Crab and artichoke dip was very creamy and not as thick as expected but tasty; didn't come with enough bread for the amount of dip There was a quesadilla that was very fresh and yummy Pasta Jambalaya - was okay, but had too much chili powder or paprika in it which made it taste more Latin than Creole Lump Crab Cake Sandwich with fresh spinach and Cajun remoulade; with garlic fries was so very good...would definitely recommend and would order again. Garlic fries? Oh yes! We did have drinks, but they were not memorable. Overall the food was really good and I would recommend and go again.

Great lunch place! The good is really good and I've always had excellent service. It's also a great place to book an informal event. They have a really neat room upstairs.

We had our rehearsal dinner at this location in their private event space upstairs. The service was great and our guests raved about the food the entire wedding weekend! They were very reasonably priced too!

I used to go to the Gordon Biersch in Hawaii. I really liked it. The one here just hasn't done it for me. Expensive, but I guess it's midtown so they get away with it.

I really like this place for business lunches in the midtown area - they have valet parking and the food is great. Expect a slight wait during peak times, but there's a great bar to sit at while you wait. I'm not a beer drinker, but love the food and go there often.

Good appetisers and entres. The restaurant is awesome and has a good ambiance. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good meal. Parking is hit or miss though.

I loved the Burger but the fries were exceptional. I guess Garlic is my weakness. I'd say this is a great lunch place as i went with co-workers, had some good burgers and fries and played pool for free(lunch only). Highly recommended.

I absolutely crave the garlic fries now that I have experienced them. The burger was awesome, too, but the fries are to die for. The next event I attend at the Fox, it is Gordon Biersch first for me. The beer sampler was cool, too.

great food. The servings are generous, perhaps too much, I always take half home. Fresh salad toppings and burgers are great, just as you'd expect. There's a few pool tables upstairs where you can chill out while you're recovering from food coma. Or you can walk down the street to that little bakery.
