I went to another VW dealership at first and I was treated poorly. I had the exact opposite experience with Gossett. They were not at all pushy, they were friendly and they really worked with me. I had negative equity in my car but they were very willing to negotiate the price with me and showed me all the payment options in order to get me the best rate possible. they found a way to give me a much better deal than my credit union. I would recommend them to anyone. From everyone I know, I have never heard a bad thing about Gossett and everyone says go to them. I totally second that. I've always had VWs and that was by far the best experience I've ever had.

I brought my Passat in back in July of 2007 for a problem I was having with the acceleration. Basicly it was cutting out very badly and they were the closest dealer to me and I had used them before. Big mistake! After waiting about two hours they said well its your O2 sensor and I thought to myself how is that effecting the acceleration? and I told the service writer that I highly doubted that was the problem because I had just had it replaced in Febuary, he went on to say it will fix it, low and behold I got back on 400 and accelerated, same problem! Called back they said well it still needed that fixed anyway so they weren't going to do anything about it $450 for a O2 sensor. I got online did some reading and found out it was possible it was a coil so $35 later , fixed! Stop sending me crap in the mail.

Try and get out of there without spending $1k no matter what you brought your car in for! The service tech Ryan is great though if you have any performance modifications.

This place is an example of how customer service has just gone to pot. No one speaks or greets you, no "how may I help you",etc..You could sense tension in the air. My service tech who I believe was named "glossie" was not personable or professional. I declined the repairs because it sounded too high,almost a 1,000 dollars so I wanted to take my passat to a non-dealership since you always pay more at a dealership. I ended up paying 200 dollars to have a loaner car for 8 hours,an oil change and the diagnostics to tell me what was wrong. The cashier never said a word and I told her she should not be sitting behind a customer service desk, her excuse was she said she was sick and I told her she should be at home then. I spoke to a sales manager and he seemed concerned but I doubt my opinions or observations will change anything. I actually would have just let them fix my car out of pure convenience but they were just not nice enough.

horrible service department. i brought my 03' vw passat in while it was under warranty telling of electrical problems and a error light on and they told me it was due to my gas cap not being on tight enough, 3 weeks later (when my warranty was no longer available) i brought it in b/c the same electrical problems appeared only worse, they told me the materials and work would cost me 300.00, i found the materials for less then 40.00 and labor across the street for 60.00!! When my car died in the middle of a highway (the same day i found the new mechanic who helped me out of the road) and the battery caught on fire just 3 weeks after the service department looked at my car under warranty and told me it was my gas cap, they were very rude and make jokes on the phone with me about my situation of being broke down in the middle of the highway.

I purchased a 2006 Beetle for my daughter for her first car from Gossett VW. This is the first VW I've ever purchased and was extremely well treated by my salesman, Terry Tripp. He understood my concerns for safety and made sure to point out all of the safety features of the car. He took extra care to address my daughter directly to make her feel an important part of the deal. He spent almost an hour with me at delivery going over everything and making sure that I had all my questions answered before I left the dealership. The only negative I have is that it took almost 3 hours to make the deal once we had decided to purchase the car and we paid cash! Overall, we were treated very well and I would go back again.

NORM IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TRIED TO CHARGE ME $300 FOR A NEW BATTERY, STARTER, AND MAYBE A NEW ALTERNATOR. THEY KEPT MY VW JETTA FOR 4 DAYS AND COULD NOT GET IT STARTED. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED. MY REGULAR MECHANICS AT SANDY PLAINS FIRESTONE HAD IT STARTED AND DRIVEABLE IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES.

Gossett Volkswagon in Alpharetta is the absolute best car dealership I have ever dealt with. I bought a 2004 Jetta from them back in September of '04. The sales people were nice, not pushy, completely helpful and patient with us and our indecisiveness. The finance manager was so helpful and two days after buying the car, he called me to tell me that he was able to get my interest rate down even lower! The service department is excellent - they always make time for me, even when I don't make an appointment and call and followup consistently. I would highly recommend Gossett Volkswagen to anyone.

I recently bought a 2005 Beetle Convertible - and could not have had a better buying experience! Keith and Carmen were my sales people and they were both so helpful! Everyone at Gossett made me feel very comfortable and not at all pressured. This was my first time buying a car on my own and I started getting cold feet while I was sitting in the Finance office, waiting to sign the papers. When I told them I was getting nervous and having doubts, instead of being pushy - they assured me that if I changed my mind, it was quite all right. I asked to drive the car one more time and was hooked - I walked right back in the office and signed the papers. A few days later I needed a new key made for my car and instead of having to go to the dealership on my lunch break - Keith and Carmen came to MY office, picked my car up, had the key made, and dropped it back off. That is what customer service is made of!

Our salesperson was knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pushy. The finance staff was extremely helpful. And we use the service department for all of our service & maintenance - they have been incredible. Overall, the best car experience I've ever had!

BEST car I've ever owned. Fantastic service. Congenial, non pressuring salespeople. Will work with you re: pricing. VERY satisfied and plan to go ONLY here for more cars in the future. Really safe, roll bars, air bags, etc. Excellent service - although I've never had anything wrong with the car - only go for 5,000 mile check ups.

Pushy salespeople that pay little attention to detail. It took me several visits to this dealership, and the threat of legal action, to get mistakes corrected on the bill of sale for an '05 Passat, which would have resulted in my paying hundreds of dollars more than the negotiated deal. Additionally, the dealership did not follow through with the new car auto detailing, leaving the fuel tank on empty, and never finishing the polishing, leaving wax all over the car. My advice, try any other dealership before doing business with Gossett.

The first time I went here for service, they were great. That was to change a lightbulb. When I went for something major they were going to charge something astronomical. And they had 5 service guys working, but 3 people in line before me were assigned to the same guy and we all sat there for over an hour to get served while the others were just sitting there not offering to help out.

The sale people there will tell you anything for you to buy a car. We negotiated a great price and confirmed this was not dependent on the financing rate. Then we spent 3 hrs completing the paperwork and then finally talked to Financing, they go back on their word and force you to sign-up for a terrible financing rate. The saleperson we originally negotiated the deal, Jason, would not speak to us directly but confirmed with the Finance manager that this price was dependent on a high financing rate, which was totally against what he promised us during the negotiations. I even called the General Manager, Brian, afterwards and he never returned my calls. Would not trust this dealership as they lie, waste your time and treat potential customers rudely

Aaron is a service representative at Gossett and will take care of you. If I have to take my car for service again, I will be taking it to him. I won't bother with any of the others, while they are nice, they are too sales driven. Biggest Complaint is Service Manager, he is rude and shows no respect for other people. He lacks the ability to speak educated and professional with his customers. I took my car previously to Dwight Harrison, they weren't able to diagnose my ABS problem, but Gossett was able to with no problems. They put me in a loaner while they diagnosed it and up until the point the new part was in and my car was fixed.
