We've got HIGH QUALITY used and rebuilt transmissions in nationwide locations at DIRT CHEAP PRICES
Bought engine from SW engines doing business as Got engines. I bought engine and spent money on fixing the leaks of the engine and within a week it broke. Called warranty department lot of times and no proper response. At last they sent me another engine and said they will pay for the labor. Getting hold of the warranty department is hard. You have to call lots of time everyday and no one responds to the call. Just leave voice mails, which they don't care to respond. My disgusting experience with warranty department. SCOTT is the only guy who responds to your call after several attempts. I was talking to him about the labor charges and he was not able to answer the labor charges question so I asked him to transfer to manager, he just lied and answered as manager. SCOTT didn't reply emails/calls and does false promises. After sending the labor charge invoice he showed his true color, he started talking rudely and hang up on me while I was asking question. Most disgusting experience for my life. After spending lot of money for their bad engine they gave me humiliating experience. I strongly recommend not to buy anything from these guys. As I was not getting response from these guys after sending my labor charges, I started doing research about SW engines. Found a law suite against them, check it out guys. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH GOT ENGINES, SW ENGINES.

I ordered a 3.8 liter engine for my Ford Windstar which was steam cleaned and painted but the looks were deceiving. I paid $950.00 for this engine and had to put $620.00 into the engine for repairs. With the cost of this engine, parts and labor plus them telling me that the engine needs a I new exhaust manifold gasket, a new intake gasket and a new rear seal gasket & oil pan gasket I would not suggest to anyone buying a engine from Got Engines because to have all this done, the price for repairs is way past the price of the engine.
Area Kalamazoo, MI
Cost $500 - $999

First time customer, Buck has bent over backwards to make sure of what we needed was correct and has kept me up to date on the process. Had a little issue on a core to rebuild and Buck had all the answers and solved the problem with a single call. We will do business again with GotEngines.com Bert Wilkerson Reidville, SC

I would like to thank you for your help in finding and delivering a replacement engine for me. Anything done online can be taking a chance, and this was as big of risk I have ever taken. The engine arrived earlier than expected, which was good, and fit my application perfectly. It runs as well as the one it replaces; I think my customer will have many more good miles of driving. I'm one of those people who takes customer service seriously and Got Engines gets my vote when it comes to professionalism and overall courtesy. After doing some research, I ordered a transmission from Got Engines for my 1998 Explorer (yes, I still drive it) and worked with Casey. He found a good transmission, low miles and explained the cost/warranty pricing. It arrived on time (mind you I live 400+miles from FL). A few weeks after it was installed, I experienced a few problems with the part and called Casey. He was helpful, told me they could replace it and connected me with Melissa Hollenbeck, CFO for a refund. Within a few weeks, I had full refund ($950)and got the part replaced. It's VERY rare to find this kind of customer service these days because most companies just want to take your money. Melissa and Casey were professional, responded to ALL of my phone calls and emails (even after business hours) and monitored everything from tracking the return on FedEx to making sure I was satisfied. When you're spending money on parts, it can be a gamble. Casey assured me that Got Engines only worked with the best suppliers and if I wasn't satisfied, they'd work with me until I was- and I must say, they honored their word! THANK YOU MELISSA, CASEY and GOT ENGINES! I'm STILL rolling in my '98 Explorer and am able to put money aside for a new car. -BEatpeace

This is the worst company I have ever come in contact with. They cost me $600.00. I bought an engine from them and they shipped an engine that didn't work. Justin (extension 131, never, ever work with him), as soon as they knew the engine was bad, would not return any calls. They said they would replace the engine, but never did. They only agreed to give me a refund after I had to agree to pay for the shipping of a bad engine both ways for $600.00. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY. ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY IGNORE AND AVOID YOU.

"When I was first told about GotEngines.com I was extremely concerned. I did the research with Better Business Bureau and I also examined local newspaper articles in Florida where there home office is located. Their record was exemplary! We ordered an engine for my 2003 Volkswagen engine. They were able to find an engine with 53,000 miles (far less than any local vendor) and for a price that was also much lower. Everything that GotEngines.com stated was followed through to the detail. There were no surprises. They knew their products and were very helpful. The engine arrived and I was impressed with it's quality. Even our installer (a Volkswagen dealer) was impressed with GotEngines.com and stated to me they were going to start doing business with them as well. Two thumbs up for GotEngines.com! Worst, company ever! Some consumers may have had a good experience, but not me. They are brokers only. You are taking a big chance. My long story short. We received our engine and was installed Nov 2010. Jan 2011 car immediately stopped. After towing to mechanic, who originally installed engine, they discovered engine was faulty. They could tell someone worked on it but a piece was bad(coil or something I think - my boyfriend knows exactly). We immediately called the our GotEngines salesperson (the one who told us how great their service is and how well they test their items, etc) and requested assistance with resoultion to the problem. 4 days later, they requested copies of receipts ensuring we replaced all necessary parts, per warranty (which we did). They were going to call us back. Meantime our engine is sitting at mechanic. In a nutshell, we called them 15 times+ (got phone records) over 3 weeks for resolution - replace faulty engine or other option (any option). They called us back back maybe once and mentioned possible sending another engine out. No call back. We even sent an email to their CFO (Melissa Hollenbeck). Nothing to date. We had to get a rental car when incident originally happened, and GotEngines kept us on a string for this rental car for 3 weeks. GotEngines busted us financially, having originally paid $1700 for an engine + additional parts/labor to install now this. We had no choice but to have the current engine repaired

In June of 2009, my 2000 Jaguar XK8 was in need of an engine due to a mistake made during an oil change. The car was in excellent condition and my goal was to repair it and continue driving it. I discovered Got Engines while doing some web searching and I was delighted to learn that my engine could be replaced at a fraction of the cost of what the dealer would charge. Dealer cost: USD12,700.00 (refurbished engine with installation) Got Engines: Under USD 5,000.00 (including my mechanics fees to install) My salesperson (Chad) was knowledgeable and extremely prompt with follow up. His suggestions were very helpful and the process was simple. He helped me select an engine with half the mileage of my original motor while keeping the car to factory specification. The motor was delivered to my mechanic within four business days. I'm happy to say that my Jaguar is running beautifully thanks to Got Engines. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of an engine replacement. Sincerely, Anthony Ingemi Rockaway, New Jersey

"The employees at GotEngines.com are team players. They work with you to ensure you win in the car repair game. While other suppliers frequently ship the wrong part for your application, GotEngines.com will ship you the correct part the first time. My experience with GotEngines.com restored my faith that not all used and rebuilt parts suppliers are in business simply to move product - GotEngines.com went the extra mile for me and I will continue to go the extra mile for them! We both work to win!" I consider myself to be on your team now that you have demonstrated you willingness to be on my team! Tim Young has been wonderful to work with. Sincerely, Robert S. I bought an engine 7-23-10 with parts and labor warranty. It came within a week. It was installed in August. I found it was burning 1 quart of oil every 500 miles and called about it. After considerable time and many calls to them, they contacted my mechanic to try some things, then sent an inspector, who said the motor was bad. Another motor arrived within a couple of weeks, but nothing about paying for the labor to replace it. I called 2 or 3 times a week for weeks. My contact only called back once in a while and said he did not know what was taking so long. After weeks, he said the labor warranty was not purchased, but I had the receipt and he had it on his computer. I finally paid the mechanic myself in December. Finally, the second week of January, 2011, they cleared it up and sent a check for $45 less than it cost to replace the motor. I can't describe the hassle it was. This should have been taken care of in October. It was not worth the stress and multiple calls. My mechanic was also disgusted. The replacement motor also uses oil. I would not dare buy another motor through them. It's too bad because, at first, it seemed a good deal with the warranty, but what a nightmare!!
