Greater Atlanta Montessori School was the answer to a prayer! I thought about sending my daughter to day care and investigated a lot of day care "schools." I recently moved here from Texas and didn't really know the area, so I had no preconceptions. The Daycare places I saw, however, left a lot to be desired. The children were watched, not taught, and didn't seem to be very controlled or attentive. When I visited Greater Atlanta Montessori, however, I saw something completely different. The place is immaculate, the children well-behaved, and the materials and equipment they had were just amazing. The Director, who's is a good, Christian widow who raised two children of her own, took the time to show me around, and spent the best part of a Saturday afternoon talking to me about Montessori Theory. What a wonderful place! My daughter loves it and I couldn't be happier. It was truly the answer to a prayer.

It was a roller coaster ride. They are people with heart loving children, however the outcome was undesirable.

The Greater Atlanta Montessori School is a great school! The children taught by our Director have done wonderfully in further education in some of our finest public and private schools. Children love the school and its new, spotless, nurturing environment.
Greater Atlanta Montessori School is a marvelous place. It's new, very well equipped with the highest quality Montessori materials, and owned by an experienced AMI Certified Montessori teacher, who is there every day to supervise and to to teach. My grandchildren attend and could not be happier. In addition, they're learning well in advance of public school or other pre-schools. I could not think of a better place to send your child. Our experience with the school has just been wonderful!

I have looked around Gwinnett and alpharetta looking for the best value and education for my son who just misses the deadline for Pre k since his 4th birthday was just after september1st. I looked into other montessouris but none was as close or as affordable as this one. Although it has just opened it has been a great experience for my son and I know when it is time for him to go to a regular school he won't be behind and will be as independent and educated as the other kids his age.

My 3 yr old attends GAMS and truly loves it there. Her teacher, Ms. Alefiya, is AMI certified and is able to bond with each of the students which is awesome. I knew little about Montessori before I enrolled my daughter, but the school is great on educated not just the students, but the parents as well on ways to continue the Montessori method in the home. I am pleased and love the teachers there.
