I recently started riding again after a long hiatus. Jess and Andy were welcoming and made me feel like I already belonged there. Jess has a good sense of humor and understands the returning adult rider. I recently purchased an off-track Thoroughbred as my very own, first horse, and I know that Jess and the other boarders at the barn have "got my back" on the learning curve both I and my horse are going to experience. I am so thrilled to have found GTHF since it is all the wonderful things everyone says but also convenient if you live in SE Atlanta. I look forward to a long relationship with Jess and Andy and everyone there.

Green Tree is amazing, I've boarded my horse there for about 3 years now and I couldn't ask for better care for him. Jess and Andy are awesome and made me feel welcome and like part of the family from day 1. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to find Green Tree.

I started taking lessons here earlier this year after a more than 10-year absence from riding. Jess has been patient with me as I get back into it and recently took me to my first show since I was a teenager! In addition, all of the riders are supportive of each other and are willing to help you out. I would highly recomend them for lessons or anyone searching for a loving place to board a horse.

Three and a half years ago my daughter started taking lessons at Green Tree. She had taken lessons for 5 years, but had many bad experiences and therefore no confidence. Jess was extremely patient and basically started at the beginning and completely retrained my daughter. Now we lease a horse which is boarded there and we train and show with Green Tree. It is truely like a family - when a rider is successful, we all celebrate the success and when a rider has a bad day, we support that rider. We love Green Tree and would not go anywhere else!

Thanks for the feedback Michelle - we appreciate it - but let's make sure we get the facts straight for the readers out there. You sent an email a few years after you stopped riding here on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 saying: "hey jess i dont know if you remember me or not i rode there for a year and owned oscar and rode biscuit but i would like to take lessons there again! its the only barn i really liked and feel comfortable at so do you think i could!!!"
Did you just change your mind since then? Or what about the next email you sent nine months later on September 11, 2009 that said:
i would really like to take lessons again because i loved it and it was great excercise 9 miss riding and havent been able to do it since i messed up my back with oscar are you still doing lessons and would i be able to take them with you"
Then a year and three days later you send a face book friend request on September 14th, 2010 to the trainer and owner of the farm? I just want to make sure that I have all the facts straight.
Now - three years after you left our farm you've recently become a fan on Facebook, saw that we were taking a large group of students to a show, decided to create an account on Kudzu and then write up a libelous review of the farm? Does that about sum it up? I just want to make sure we have all the facts straight here.
when i started riding at greentree, i was an adult rider coming off of a 22 year break! i'm sure i could not have asked for a better experience!! i felt welcome from the minute i got there and now 2 years later i am riding and showing my own horse. the care and concern for both horse and rider go above and beyond. the fun-filled family atmosphere is so unique. jess and andy are like my second family!! i love them and could not ask for a higher quality of care for me or my horse!! come join the fun!!

My daughter absolutely loved it! She says she can't stop thinking about Ace & riding, & she can't wait until the next time. She said ALL OF IT was her favorite. Everyone really made us feel welcome & did a great job teaching Hali. Andy hung out and talked with dad the entire time, as if theyve been friends for years. Jessica was patient, positive, fun, and interactive in her training with Hali. I couldn't ask for a better experience for the first time introducing my daughter to something she's been interested in and begging to do since she was able to talk! We look forward to all the many lessons to come. I think Green Tree Horse farm will hold many of our treasured family memories.

Jess and Andy do a great job of maintaining and improving this operation. They make sure that all of the horses are well cared for and they have a great relationship with the vets and farriers so when there is a problem, there is excellent care provided. They have set up GTHF as a family atmosphere and it makes for a very comfortable environment.

Thanks for your kind words. We do our best to maintain an excellent facility
I have been a boarder for quite some time, and since the moment I arrived, I was treated like an old friend. The facilities are constantly being improved, and the lesson program is amazing! If you are looking for a place to really get the full equine experience, Green Tree Horse Farm is the place to go!!!

I have been to a few barns in the metro area, and Green Tree is by far the BEST! Jess is a WONDERFUL instructor, and the farm is GREAT. I couldn't ask for a better place to hone my equestrian skills.

After searching diligently and trying several Atlanta area stables and riding facilities we have found THE ONE. I have young children and the attention and age specific lessons are fabulous. The stables are clean, the horses happy and well taken care of. The owners, Jess and Andy, are incredibly friendly, kind and knowledgeable. As a family we highly recommend this farm to anyone, any age who is interested in horses!!
