Slow waiters, bad attitudes, and ok hygiene sums it up. The food is really good, but I was so irritated by our waiter taking almost 20 min to bring the check (and he had all of 2 tables) that I could not enjoy it. Get a clue Guerros and hire better wait staff.

Service is terrible and super slow. I really with they would hire better wait staff as it's mostly kids who have a "don't care" attitude. I'll just keep my money then...

Feelings about this place seem to be one extreme or the other. It's one of my faves. The tacos al pastor are the perfect appetizer. Their mole on marinated chicken enchiladas is great. The almabres (get a mix of beef and chicken) are also really good. And one of my favorite margs in town -- the Guero's Gold -- with tequila, Gran Marnier and line juice. You definitely know that's an adult beverage.

I don't know what the big deal is about Guero's. Why wait a long time for Tex-Mex that's average at best? The guacamole tacos are good, but there's nothing really special about anything on the menu.

Very traditional Mexican and very lunch affordable. Their wait-staff is very curteous and knowledgable and a variety of drinks from which to choose. Love the atmosphere! Also a film spot for Quentin Tarantino's "Deathproof."

I don't know what the fascination with this place is all about. Their food is mediocre tex mex at best and way overpriced. Their horrible margaritas are also a rip off. I suppose their popularity is mostly due to the trendy location on S. Congress.
