Mr. Hagan is a very professional architect, he had help me to understand the process of building a new hose, made me understand what are the criteria to choose a hose plan that work the best with my land. He was very open and helped with his expertise and didn't push for a sale.

We could not be happier with the job that Tim Hagen did to transform our little Candler Park bungalow into a space that feels three times its original size. Despite the inevitable anxieties that accompany a renovation, we always felt that we were in great hands with Tim. He listened to what was most important to us and found a way to get us there with his attention to the details that make a house a very special home. We could not be happier with the outcome.

We found Tim after a detailed search to design a home for us on a difficult lake lot. From the beginning to end and top to bottom, Tim was fantastic to work with. He was always available and was great at suggesting things we would have never considered. On top of that, our builder said he was one of, if not the best architects he has worked with. THANKS TIM!

Tim was originally referred to us through a decorator. In building a new home, we needed to revise our exterior architectural plans because we wanted a more modern updated look. Our original plans were designed by a large and expensive firm and we couldn't see ourselves paying those ridiculous prices again. Within a few days Tim came up with an affordable option. He transformed our exterior aesthetic and we love it. Later he came back with more recommendations and didn't charge us. In building this house and dealing with so many people Hagan Architects was easily the best value for our money. Tim is very collaborative, creative and easy to work with.

We had a devastating house fire in July of 2011 and had no earthly idea where to turn. We found Tim, quite serendipitously, online, and that happy event has nearly made up for the tragedy of the fire. From the start he showed no fear in the face of overwhelming damage, the presence of two obstructionist insurance adjusters, or the 50 mile distance between his office and our home. He has been positive, informative, creative, reasonable, supportive, enthusiastic, humorous and receptive. Tim is a rare bird, we've learned, as an architect with hands-on construction experience. He quickly recommended a fine general contractor and he's worked enthusiastically with this firm to provide us with a seamlessly pleasant experience. Tim has been with us every step of the way and has nudged us in good directions when we would have been tempted to take easier or less-wise paths. He has never been condescending or short-mannered as some "professionals" can be when dealing with clients. But most important has been the level of Tim's ethical standards. His concern for our pocketbook has been a matter for discussion at each and every step of the project. We never felt pressured to spend more than was necessary.

Tim and his team recently completed an exterior redesign for me and I couldn't be happier with the results. Tim takes time to understand exactly what you're looking for, walks you through the process and is very consciencious of budget restraints. My house looks amazing - I am thrilled with the results! I will definitely use him again.

Tim recently helped with the rebuilding of my home after it was destroyed by a house fire. He was not only a pleasure to work with, but was very flexible with my busy work life. He was a great liaison between the contractor too (and contractors do live up to their reputations) and made sure we didn't cut any corners. Tim is also very quick to respond (and still is after the project has finished) to any questions I have; I love that! My new house looks amazing. I will use Tim again on any future building projects I may have .

I've worked with Hagan on three projects. Two commercial, one residential. Scale from $100k to $1.5 million. To say Tim sweats the details is a gross understatement. He understands design styles. Can move gracefully between modern and traditional. Respects history and always delivers a project that reflects the customer while taking his or her vision to a place he didn't expect to reach. I'll happily sing his praises here or in person.

It's probably hard to say an architect is perfect. But i'd be willing to go there with Tim. The first work that Tim did for me was 20 years ago. It was excellent then. About 10 years ago he did a much larger job for me, and i never had a moment when i wasn't glad i had him on the job. I don't want to set expectations too high. But i've worked with lots of architects and designers and Hagan is at the top of the heap.

I was very lucky to find Hagan Architects on Kudzu. We just recently completed a whole house remodel/renovation that T. Hagan helped us to design. He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions for ways we could save money, drew up the plans, and even helped us find the right contractor. The floor plan of our house house (built in '69) prior to the renovation was very chopped up and the main floor did not flow at all. Now it not only flows well, but there is no wasted space. He also designed the addition for our new master bath and closet, and helped us with a plan for finishing the basement. I am very pleased with the results and I love my house!! Hagan Architects, Inc. is exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend them.

We have been lucky enough to work with Tim on two house projects. The first project was a lake house where he successfully combined our goals for a lodge style home that was comfortable, entertaining and relaxing. We then worked with him on a 4 bedroom, 3 bath second floor addition for our 1920's Morningside traditional home. In both projects, what impressed us most was his ability to listen to our goals, solicit feelings and bring them together in a holistic design. His attention to detail and the ability to think about the design from all angles is very impressive. Terrific job!

We wanted to improve the front view of our house and to repair a damaged carport. Tim helped us work through many possibilities and found us a compatible contractor. He kept in mind our stated comments and wishes but also gently moved us in better directions. He was also mindful of cost-effectiveness. We would highly recommend him.

Our 100+ year old home burned last July (2008). We weren't ready for the home renovation that was thrust upon us. All I can say is thank goodness for Tim Hagan. The end result is a beautiful, well thought out home. We wanted to keep as much of the home's character as possible while making the home functional. Tim really listened to our needs - both for the home and financially. Tim's ideas, design, and attention to detail resulted in more than we could have ever hoped for. Time worked well with our General Contractor and helped with our insurance company. If we ever have to do another renovation or if we ever build a home, we will definitely make sure Tim is a part of that process.
