The quality of hair cuts at Hair Cuttery is adequate and about the same as any other budget chain hair salon. However, on multiple occasions various members of my family have been treated poorly by the staff and manager. The latest issue was on a Saturday when my husband arrived 19 minutes before the state closing time, but was turned away. There were two staff members plus a manager in the store and only one customer getting a hair cut. My husband was told that they were about to close and it was too late to start a new customer. Several years ago, we had a favorite stylist at this location. But when she left the next time we visited, the stylist who cut my husband's hair seemed to not even want to touch him as she cut his hair. I was sitting only a few feet away getting a hair cut from another stylist. I my husband's stylist make unpleasant faces roll her eyes and in general act very immature as she cut his hair. I guess she didn't realize that I was with him or that I could see her actions, but I thought the way she treated him was horribly inappropriate. I contacted the corporate office after each of these issues. On both occasions the customer service person took my complaint and stated that someone would get back to me. No one from the corporation nor the local location has ever called, e-mailed or sent a note of apology or concern.
