Dr. Maury Harwood is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon renowned for performing life-changing, minimally-invasive joint replacement surgeries of the shoulder, hip, and knee. His practice, Harwood Orthopedics is located in Morgan Hill, California and also serves patients from nearby South San Jose. Dr. Harwood earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, followed by fellowship training in minimally-invasive hip and knee replacement surgery and sports medicine.
In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, Dr. Harwood serves as the Chief of Surgery at Saint Louise Regional Hospital and is Chairman of the hospital's Credentials Committee. He has served on Saint Louise's board since 2009. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the California Orthopedic Association, and the Western Orthopedic Association. He is a native of Los Angeles and is married to Rachelle Harwood, a San Jose native. They have called the South Valley home for more than a decade and enjoy spending time with their two children, Colton and Macyn.
