At first we were in love with our Haven Home. However, 4 years later plus $6000.00 we finally were able to get repairs done on our house that Haven promised us in a letter per their lawyer. They build a nice home but have TERRIBLE follow up and make empty promises. Due to these empty promises, we had to force Haven to do what they promised by taking them to Arbitration. Do not close on a Haven Home until everything you want done is completed. Otherwise, good luck getting them back to do the job.

We were gullible enough to take this builder and his flooring contractor at their word that the extensive(2000=sq ft)hardwood floor cupping would either resolve itself or Haven would do the right thing to correct the problem. To date they have ignored our moisture expert's readings of high moisture in the subfloor and the wood manufacturers guidelines-16 months after closing!

Their beautiful and unique floorplans, as well as their craftsman style homes was what attracted us to this builder. We now have been living in a Haven Properties Home for nearly 3 years, although we love our house and the neighborhood; they were a lot of items that needed fixing and required several visits before the could get it right. Probably, because they need to hired more experience workers! The closing was an overall good experience; but when buying one of their homes, pay close attention to EVERY little detail even if it requires pushing your closing date, because once you close it takes a lot of time and aggravation to get them back in to fix it.
