We recently purchased a tempurpedic mattress at Haverty's and love the mattress. The sales person was very friendly and nice. However, the buying experience wasn't ideal. At the time we bought the mattress we also purchased 3 pillows. For some reason these items had to be put on 3 difference tickets - so I had 3 charges to my credit card. When I decided to return the pillows, they said they credited my credit card, but instead they credited my non-existent Haverty's charge. I ended up with a Haverty's charge with a negative balance which had to be reversed and sent to my credit card company. When I asked if I had to get extra deep pocket sheets for this mattress she told me no, regular sheets fit. I'm glad I doubted her word and had a set of deep pocket sheets ready to go when the matress was delivered. Again, we love the bed and she was very nice, but it seemed like a lot of effort was spent on the transactions and getting the right information.

We had a great experience recently with Havertys. The salesmen was friendly and helpful (Mr. White), and they made us a great deal. Furniture arrived as promised and in great condition. Their automated information line is great, the when you need to speak with a real person, they're available and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
