The smaller pastries I have purchased from the display case have always been good. The petit fours are the best. As far as the cakes, I agree with other reviews that the special occasion cakes from the display aren't fresh so I always place an order for one. The cakes that I have ordered have always been fresh and very delicious.

We just purchased a small sheet cake from Henri's for a celebration. It was the worst cake I have ever had. It was extremely dry (and expensive). I have never felt so ripped off at a piece of bakery. What's worse, is the embarrassment of watching people trying to eat the cake and not say how terrible it was. Never again. PS - This was not a custom made cake. It was what they had on-hand. Regardless, they should not have sold a cake so old, especially for $25.

I used to use them for all my cakes, until I ordered a special 50th bday for my boss, no expenses made, gave full details on colors (blues, green and yellow) and decorations, they used the colors in my business card, BLACK and RED it was horrific, never again

Last year I ordered a birthday cake for my mother's birthday. They said it would be ready by close of business on Saturday. I was planning on picking it up later that afternoon as I had other plans earlier that day. When I arrived an hour before they closed, the store was empty and dark - they had closed early. I was very disappointed. I'm sure this is not standard practice but none the less, they let me down and will never use them again.
