I'll admit living so close to one of the country's premiere wine sellers is a luxury. But one instance put me off enough to seek elsewhere since I am no wine afficinado. I'm moving, and liquor store boxes are perhaps the best to use for moving boxes. Especially books; they're built strong and small enough so that when full, they're easy to carry. Hi-Time's policy is that they will not give away boxes. So, I'll find another liquor store. But I find it very odd they won't help a local, loyal customer and set aside a few boxes here and there. They're stacked behind the counter ready for anyone buying in bulk - why is it so hard to let a dozen or so go from time to time to a local who is moving?

This store has had the best selecton for years. Wine, beer, liquor, and accessories. They have a tasting bar down stairs, and do special tastings every week. Price ranges are all over the board. Looking for that special wine? If they don't have it, they will do what is necessary to get it for you.
