We took our CRV in for a/c repair and was very pleased with the work and work ethic from the office to the mechanics! So refreshing to find mechanics that take great pride in their work! Awesome job guys!

I have 2-20yr old cars and expedition. Over 20 tickets with Tex and Renee since 2009. They do an excellent job and have kept me on the road. Their labor rates are lowest in town. They make right any area of problem. This small family owned business is just where I want to go for Auto repairs. THANKS YA'LL

The owners sound really nice. The front desk worker is not so nice. We needed major repair to our Yukon and asked for an estimate of the work. We talked to them several times as they spent a day and half going over my truck, and in the end, we didn't feel confident that they had a solid solution for the price they were going to charge. So we decided to just pay the estimate charge and move on. When I disputed a freon charge that I did not approve (I specifically told them no work was to be performed without my approval), and after arguing with him as he was saying that my husband approved it when in fact he did not, the guy said that he would just go and take the freon out of my truck. Not sure if because I am a woman that he thought that I would give in to this tactic, but I agreed for him to proceed, knowing that was going to be pretty difficult to accomplish. Obviously, he did not do this, and as I tried to pay him for what I agreed to pay from the beginning, he told me not to worry about it and to never come back again. Fine by me but not great business tactic or treatment of customer. My advice: 1) Don't lie, ever; 2) If you want to convince me that you do have the right solution, then have a mechanic or owner who knows what they are talking about talk to the customer if you can't; 3.) Don't take it personally that we decide not to use your business but agree to pay the estimate charge.

I stopped in earlier in the year to get emissions testing. Liked the service and loved the atmosphere so when I had some car problems, I went back to them. They completed repairs correctly and at a great price and even worked with me on payments! They are like family to me now. It is great to have a place to take my car that I TOTALLY TRUST!

Hickory Flat Automotive was recommended to me by an auto parts dealer I frequent. Took my Ford F-150 truck to them for a tune up and they did a very good job for about 40% less than a national repair/tire chain and they are very nice to do business with. It is a family business with Tim (father) as the owner and his wife and daughter holding down the front office. They also have wireless internet access. Will do business again with this family run business.

I went to another 'auto repair' shop on Hickory flat hwy and was quoted over $1000 just in the Labor cost. In this time of thriftiness, I went down the street to the new place that has opened up. Well, I say new, but the shop itself has been there. It is a new family that is running it now. WOW! #1- I felt comfortable, & #2 they charge $25 less an hour for their Labor ! & they go by a Labor Guide....Just stopping and checking, I saved over $500!!!! I just wanted to share this. Try them out. You will be impressed I am sure, as I was. Just by stopping, I paid for ALL my Christmas this year! Great Shop. I will support them.
