I went with a couple of friends for pedicures to celebrate a birthday. We got to sit next to each other and chat while we had great pedicures. Two of us had the standard spa pedi ($20 for massage chair and pedicure), and we treated the birthday girl to the deluxe ($30, which also had a seaweed wrap and some other fancy treatments that I can't recall). Very relaxing, and a great job. The place was spacious and clean and more relaxing than some mani/pedi assembly lines, and it didn't cost much more. Very clean. Friendly. Great time!

I go to Highland Nails for gels nails, which only Anna is trained to do. While she's great at her craft, she's often so busy it's hard to get in at a time convenient with my work & travel schedule. I tried another highly rated salon nearby that hard more availability, but in the end was not as happy with the quality of their work (or my ravaged cuticles). I'm returning to Highland Nails... with an appointment made well in advance.

I go to Highland Nails regularly for pedicure and brow wax. The technicians are polite and do a good job. The place is clean and the equipment is in good shape. Their prices are very reasonable. If you really need a particular time an appointment is a good idea, but I often drop in without a problem.

I came from Europe to Atlanta a month ago and i had no idea where to go to have my acrillic nails filled in. I found Highland Nails on the internet and i gave it a try. The experience was really good! My nails look great and very natural. I also had a pedi which was great too. I definately recommend this place because: 1)it is clean, 2) they do their work focusing on the details, 3) they are very polite and 4)they keep their prices down.

Before going to Highland Nails I had tried at least 10 other places in town. This is by far the nicest place while still be inexpensive. Perhaps the best-kept-secret. Not easy to find -- which lends to why it is such a great secret.

Highland nails is clean, thorough, and well priced. They did a super job on my gel nails and do a great pedicure. It lasts for weeks! They really take their time to do a very good job... it's also in a great location right between Va Hi & Morningside.

I've been here a couple times for pedicures. It's nice and well-ventilated and they do a good job. The secret is out, so it's harder to drop in -- call ahead for an appointment.

This is a quiet, friendly, very professional salon. The atmosphere is very spa-like, yet the speed and cost of service are competitive. I will not go anywhere else now that I've found Anna at Highland Nails!

Relaxation AND a great set of gel nails. This shop is different from the typical nail shop. It is tastefully decorated and spacious. The gel nails I get here are absolutely beautiful, and they stay beautiful for 2-3 weeks. The shop is a little hard to find. So, look for it behind the post office at the corner of Amsterdam and N. Highland.

I am new in town and went to Kudzu to find a nail salon close by. Highland Nails is new to the area, but not new to the business, they have had other locations. I came in to get a manicure, and a pedi and everyone was very sweet and attentive. I think the owner did my nails and it was a great experience, It's situated under a restuarant so a little hard to find, but the experience was GREAT!

Let's face it, many men are still uncomfortable going to a traditional nail salons. They usually are in high visibility locations, with large glass picture windows. You feel like you are on display. At HIGHLAND NAILS, you enter through a non-descript entrance, and are suddenly transformed into a peaceful grotto of tranquility. Pedicure booths are private, and there are no obtrusive windows. The staff is both friendly and unobtrusive. A man can feel extremely comfortable here. If you live in the Virginia Highland or Morningside/Midtown area or beyond, you need to give Highland Nails a try.

I went today based on recommendations here and this nail salon will not disappoint. It was a little slower early in the day and the technician took extra time on my pedi...heaven. The American mani for my hands is the best I have ever gotten on my natural nails. I'll be a regular now.
