I've tried a lot of vets looking for a doctor/staff who cares and works around what i can afford. I never fell pressured there and my dog seems happy with the doctor as well.

We've been taking our pets to Dr Barnwell since he opened his practice at Hwy 92 Animal Hospital. Highly competent vet. We have total confidence in him to treat and care for our pets based on our many years of experience. He is compassionate and spends as much time with us as is needed. Never pressures us to buy things and helps to find the best but most reasonable solution for treating the pets. He personally follows up on the pets when they are being treated and is always available for questions and help. We consider him a friend as well as our vet.

We used Hwy 92 this past Memorial Day weekend because our normal vet (Towne Lake Animal Hospital) was full. I can't help but feel that she's been locked up the entire time. She's acting nuts since we brought her home! The girl at the desk acted like she couldn't wait for us to take her and obviously could care less about our dog. Perhaps the doctor there is a decent vet, but we will not board our puppy there again.

I have been taking my dog to this vet for a few years now. My "baby" is 14 yrs old so has a variety of health issues. Dr. Barnwell understands her needs, temperament, and that i want to make her as comfortable as possible. He is great about explaining everything and working with me for the right treatments. He is never judgmental and understands that I am on a budget too.

We have had such a hard time finding a vet that has it all so to speak. After switching vets 4 times from dissappointments in care and scheduling we tried Dr Barnwell...and I do believe we have found the vet we needed. The practice is small enough that you dont feel ever rushed or are bumping into people coming in and out, but big enough for it to be properly equipped. Our male dog was recently fixed and he is extremely shy--they treated him like their own dog...let him recover wrapped in blankets next to their desks while they worked so he wasnt left alone in a kennel. That impressed us greatly. The techs there are extremely friendly to the dogs and so is the doctor...they approach the dogs with care and gently. I would recommend this place very much..you and your animal are not just a number here.

I took my dog here after reading the Kudzu reviews and I am glad I did. I've not been very satisfied with my previous vets but I was very impressed with Dr. Barnwell and his staff. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions. He didn't try to push any services or products on me only explained what he thought were the choices for my older dog. I'm glad that I tried Kudzu and found this vet.

As an animal rescuer, I not only take my 3 personal dogs but have taken over a hundred rescues that I have pulled from shelters and breeder dumps in a wide range of conditions. Dr. B always provides compassionate care and is available to answer questions when you need him.

I moved to Kennesaw last June and needed a new "regular" vet. Having three dogs I wanted a Vet who truly cares about my animals but is also reasonably priced. As you well know, Veterinarians can be quite costly. After reading reviews of other Vets on Kudzu, I chose to visit Dr. Barnwell because of the other reviews online. Ultimately, I can honestly say this is the MOST compassionate and caring veterinarian I have ever met. He truly cares about the well being of the animals he cares for. His staff is always courteous and friendly. They too are all animal lovers. Every time we have been in his office, Dr. Barnwell has taken more than enough time to explain, diagnose, and answer any questions we've had. If I've had to call Dr. Barnwell for questions, he's always been prompt in returning calls as well. Most recently, we lost one to cancer. Not only did Dr. Barnwell let us spend as much time as we needed with our animal before we said good bye, but he also stayed in the room with us which was very comforting. In addition to him spending "quality" time with his patients, he is also very reasonably priced. I hold The Hwy 92 Animal Hospital in the highest regard and would highly recommend Dr. Barnwell and his staff!!

I was referred to Dr. B after a bad experience with another vet. Dr B and his entire staff have always been welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. In each of the 3 visits I have made to their office, Dr B has spent 10-15 minutes at the end of the exam to answer any and all of my questions. I drive over 45 minutes to see this vet and it is worth it. Their prices are fair. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Barnwell for a long time now and he is such a great vet. He and his staff are friendly and caring. You can tell he genuinely loves his patients and he is great with us adoptive parents as well.

I've been taking my cat to get groomed here for a while now. I know she is in good hands. I love the fact that the staff remembers me without me have to say who I am.
