I have a volvo and have used them for smog checks to replace brakes and a radiator. Every time I visit this shop everyone is friendly and I am amazed at what they can get done in a day. They have referred me to excellent people for other work that I have needed done. I was hesitant to go at first. Now I wish I had done everything through them. It would have saved me lots of time, money and headaches. They are a super shop to use. Don't think just smog.

I am a single woman and limited to my knowledge of automobiles. I have been going to Henry's for approximately 15 years and always am assured of quality, and honestly and a warm smile. He and his group are just the best and I recommend him often.

Hillcrest Smog and Repair is a busy little mechanic shop, which speaks volumes. I've been going there for about a year, but I'm a loyal customer who was sick of getting ripped off at dealerships and other service centers. The receptionist is super friendly and will articulate all mechanical issues in layman's terms. This shop does excellent service at great prices!

This place is not much to look at, but they were polite, efficient and very quick! I went on my lunch hour for my smog test, and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. Think it's the fastest I've ever gotten a smog test done! The lady doing the paperwork was very polite and efficient. Good experience.

These are good mechanics who never perform unnecessary work. They charge a fair price and get the work done on-time. I've used them for several years and have never been disappointed.

One would think an auto mechanic in the middle of Hillcrest would be pricey. If you care less about a spotless bathroom and more about the quality and price of your auto repairs this is the place for you. Family run and feels like it should be on Main Street USA, this garage is friendly and honest. Word of Advice: this place doesn't take appointments. First come first serve so be early. Unless, of course, you would like to stroll the very colorful and chic community of Hillcrest with its awesome shops, restaurants and cafes.
