Love this place! The kumamotos are the best of the bunch. Also, the clam chowder....with real clams in the shell are awesome! Not too heavy like your traditional NE chowders. Additionally, the grilled cheese sandwich are fantastic!

The best thing about Hog island is the fresh oysters on a Monday afternoon. The have some of the best specials for you and your friends to enjoy. Wether its a dozen Blue points or something more exotic this is the place to come to. Easily found in the Ferry Building in San Francisco, it is one place I have had some of the best service in the bay area for seafood. The quality is amazing,the beer from locals brewers, and a great staff to pull it all together. it is a combination that makes it a fun and reasonably affordable place to keep coming back to.
