I am BEYOND thankful that my boss referred me to Chad. My DREAM car (a convertible 99 Toyota Celica) just randomly overheated on me on my way to work last week. After taking it to Pep Boys I left being told they couldn't fix it and that it was something I'd need to visit the dealership for. I received quotes from $300 to upwards of $500. Chad took a look, made a simple replacement, and only $40 later, she's running like a dream! You'd better believe he'll be my mechanic going forward! Thank you, Chad!
Was informed that water pump outlet gasket and thermostat housing were cracked. In order to replace, exhaust manifold would have to be removed but bolt was broken off. Only thing that needed replacement was thermostat housing. Manifold did not need to be removed.

To everything in these 5 Star Reviews I say Amen. Chad does good work at a more than reasonable price. I take my '99 Toyota Prerunner to him and trust his judgement completely. He has proven himself every time.

In all my 42 yrs, I have never been so impressed with the work and the prices of any mechanic (that includes my cousins shop) as Chad. I wish we knew about him years ago, tell everyone you meet to go here. My dad drove from Conyers because Chad was $800 less than his mechanic. Chad is the man I am telling you all look no farther for a great, honest mechanic!

Chad has taken care of our '97 Infiniti J30 and 2004 Acura TSX (and their predecessors) for over ten years. He knows his stuff. Both cars run like watches, and his prices are always reasonable. Like others have said, he must be doing well, because he doesn't hesitate to help a customer avoid being ripped off by others, and to make sure his own repairs are truly necessary and are priced reasonably. HSJA is recommended without reservation. Ten plus years and nothing to criticize. When was the last time you read that about a mechanic? NOTE: The Google Map on Kudzu is way off as of 1/10/13. HSJA is in Holly Springs, east of I-575. Double- check before you go if you're unsure.

I have been taking my cars to Chad for 10+ years now. I agree with every other review posted. Chad is honest, does great work and has great prices. He is a pleasure to work with and I refer him to others every chance I get.

Have been having them work on my Honda and Toyota for 5+ years now. I have never had one issue with their repairs. I've been told, "No Charge". I've been told, "You don't need anything". And one time they accidentally cracked the dipstick. First words out of his mouth when I came to pick up the car was, "let me show you something". They ordered the dipstick, called me when it came in and came out immediately when I arrived and swapped it. If it's Japanese, save yourself some $$$ and worry and take it to these honest folks.

I've been taking my car to Chad for all my work for a few years now and I felt that I had to leave some feedback after I took my car in today for an emission issue and he charged me nothing to fix a minor vacuum hose problem. In the past I've had problems that seemed, to someone like me with little knowledge of cars, like a catastrophic failure when it was, in fact, relatively minor. Other mechanics might try to sell you a new engine when they see an opportunity like that, but Chad is always honest and very knowledgeable.

I am tough to impress, but Chad at HSJA has earned my business with excellent workmanship, and honest prices. I have no reservations in referring Holly Spring Japanese Automotive to anyone for maintenance or repair.

I am really happy that I found Holly Springs Japanese Automotive (HSJA) when I moved here two years ago. When I lived in Durham, NC, I used to take my Infiniti to the dealer in Raleigh, 25 miles away. I am as confident in HSJA as I was at the dealer. I am careful in choosing my service too. Granted, HSJA won't lend me a recent Infiniti demo while my car is in for major servicing, but renting a car for the day is still much cheaper. Example: A 30,000 Mile Service cost me a base price of $500 in Raleigh. JAHS quoted me $300. Your costs will vary, depending on year, number of cylinders, etc. Do not trust the Mapquest Map though, he is off of Marietta Highway on the Holly Springs side of 575. They inspect used Japanese cars as well, when you need it.

Chad is a great owner and mechanic. I have been using his services for almost 5 years now and I would never take any of my cars anywhere else. From oil changes, brakes, timing belts, etc. his prices are great, he will deliver the car when he says, and it is completed right the first time.
