I adopted an older Bichon Frise who eventually had some serious ear problems. Dr. Fran made every effort to help Rosie have a better quality of life. When Rosie's little heart could no longer take all the stress I had to rush her to the weekend emergency vet. As I waited in an exam room with a good friend to know Rosies' fate, in walked Dr. Fran to console me on the passing of Rosie. Given the very early morning hours.....I never expected to see her. I felt such compassion and consolation from Dr. Fran. I now have another rescue and I wouldn't consider another vet !!!!!

The staff was wonderful to my young puppy. They took care to make sure he wasn't frightened or overwhelmed. His first time bath and nail trim were a huge success for all concerned. Dr. Bailey got down on the floor with Sam so he wouldn't be frightened up on the table. He took care to make sure all my questions were answered fully, even the silly ones.

In my opinion, Dr. Fran is extremely rude and aggressive. She did not introduce herself or even say "hello" before she began barking orders at me and insulting me. Her language and tone were nothing short of demeaning. Other reviews also echo this same experience, even the "good" reviews. I strongly do not recommend.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Fran for over 10 years. Dr. Fran is certainly not cold and insensitive if she seems that way its because she is thinking of the best solution for your pet, that's how intelligent doctors practice. Plus you aren't going their to make friends/social event. Emergencies do happen and you may have to wait but it is definitely worth it and the new Dr. Bailey seems wonderful as well. Tide Taylor (my baby) runs to the door to go inside, so even he thinks its great.

My daughter had a sick guinea pig and we took her to see Dr. Fran. She was absolutely amazing and the staff was very professional. Our guinea pig ended up being very sick and passed away after being in her office for 5 days. Dr. Fran took care of her for 5 days and let my daughter come visit her guinea pig everyday after school until she passed. The staff was so compassionate and helped my daughter deal with her first loss of a pet. I will DEFINITELY take our other guinea pig or future pets to see her. Price was very reasonable and she tells you what to expect up front.

My cat was throwing up A LOT and had diarrhea as well. Dr. Fran Nicholson never took his case seriously. I would even argue that she is INCOMPETENT! It turns out he was put to sleep & to this day I regret that decision & taking him to her. Furthermore, her quote for his final bill was much higher than she told us! Also, our dog had bone cancer, which she failed to diagnose. We talked to her about when we would need to euthanize her and Fran said to call her anytime & she would come in to do it, or even come to our home. We called on a Sat night at ~ 11:30 & she stated she could not come in. She just tells you what you want to hear, but when the time comes when she is needed she cannot be bothered. "Doctor" Fran should not be practicing as she has no sincere interest in the well-being of her patients. I will forever think back on my beloved cat of 12 years and think of how she screwed up his case and neglected to properly care for him. AVOID THIS VET IF YOU WANT THEM TO CONTINUE LIVING HEALTHY.

Previously when reviewing this office, we mentioned all the problems we encountered with the staff. We brought this to the attention of Dr. Fran and she was very attentive and responsive to our concerns. She gave us a refund of some of our expenses and we appreciate her willingness to listen and make things right.

I've used Hollyberry for 5 yrs for our dogs, cat and rats My pets rec'v excellent care. Dr. Fran does not come off as very personable, but she is an excellent vet and truly cares about her patients and their owners. When my daughter's rat needed surgery and was upset about her pet going under anesthesia, Dr Fran let us into the surgery after she put him under to reassure my daughter that he was fine. When we had to put our dog down, Dr Fran let us hold her during the euth procedure while the vet tech took our kids out to the car and comforted them. I cannot imagine another clinic doing this for our family. Dr Fran usually explains different diagnosis/treatment options: the most conservative to the most aggressive. She usually tells us what she would do if it were her pet, but then lets us decide. I worked for a vet for years and I trust Dr Fran. Her staff is very caring and knowledgable about pet care. They may not be polished, but these people are solid with good hearts and great skills.

Dr. Fran is amazing. I don't take my cat to her for a social call, I take her there for her knowledge; which is A+-#1. Not only is she an excellent vet, her prices are very affordable and she will work with you if can't pay everything up front. Let's face it, it can cost a fortune the take care of your animal you love like a member of your family. Nancy Queen

Fran is by far the best vet I have ever taken my dog to! I cannot understand anyone saying anything negative about her. She is a caring and concerned vet that takes the time to examine in depth each and every time! I trust her, she is fair and honest.

I would not recommend anyone taking their animals to this place for anything!!! The doctor is to distracted to care about the animals it seems. Not to mention she is unfriendly, forget about trying to just call to get advice, she wont give you the time of day. Also, it is by far the dirtiest clinic I have ever set foot in. Sick animals, or animals being boarded should be kept in a clean enviroment and that certainly is not this place. Take my advice and find a new clinic if you really care about the well being of your animals.

I have been going to Hollyberry for about 10 years. They are simply the best! Dr. Fran is the most knowledgeable veterinarian I have ever met. She's a straight, honest and to the point. She may be a bit short at times but that fine with me, she's very busy caring for animals. They recently put my dog of 16 years down and came to our house so my dog would feel comfortable. The same week my maltese was at the groomers and was having problems breathing, I couldn't get there for an hour to get her, Dr. Fran went over and got her for me. I will never go to another animal hospital! Keep up the good work Hollyberry! We love your dedication and compassion!

But I have no idea if these same reviewers have gone to the same place. I took both my cats there for their annual checkup (I had just moved to the area) and the office is unkempt, and don't get me started on the lack of customer service. Dr. Fran was blatantly cold and unfriendly. She didn't care much about the history of my cats AND told me not to do a blood test for them (even though they are 10 and 11 years old). I really don't know whether she's nice to only people she knows for a while or what. I hoofed it out of there. When my cat had a possible issue, I went to Dr. Morton at Chattahoochee Animal Clinic and he is THE BEST. Forget Dr. Fran - she comes across as very unfeeling and uncaring, and very busy and distracted.

We LOVE Dr Fran and her staff! I was referred here by a co-worker. I have tried several other vets in Alpharetta area but I am sticking with Hollyberry! They do not "nickel and dime you" with bogus fees. They tell you what needs to be done and provide it at very reasonable cost. I have also boarded my dog here and been very happy with the care.
