Well, I held off on writing a review for several months, but the time has come for me to close this brief chapter. They were very prompt in reaching out after I submitted my initial contact form. An appointment was made for April 14th and the ladies were on time. I was completely impressed with their promptness, professional knowledge, and pleasant demeanor. So, why only 2 stars, you ask? It's because I haven't heard from them since! I received no promised work estimate, no follow-up, nada. We are now in late September, and I'm wondering who I let into my home. Too bad... I was really excited to meet them.

I have used other "handyman" services - most with bad results and $$$. These two women are skilled, professional and priced fairly. They are responsive, very thorough. A big plus: they educate you on the problem and the fix. They are honest and versatile. My needs are my "honey do list" - sticking door, running toilet, dripping faucets, cracked driveway, ceiling fan repair, light switch repair, broken ironing board, drafty front door, etc etc. They do it all. Looks/works like new. Got it all done in just a couple of hours. I heartily recommend them.

I can't speak to their work as they've yet to provide a quote (bathroom remodel) after nearly 4 weeks from the initial visit. I also contacted them as a reminder that we were still awaiting pricing and was guaranteed a quote the following day. Guess what did not happen? My wife and I chose this team because my wife was considerably more comfortable with the idea of employing a team who were seemingly more knowledgeable than the other outifits who'd previously given estimates... we will never know. Unfortunately, empty promises must be inherent to this profession. On to the next one!

It's a shame we lost your business before we won it!
That being said, we try to notify potential customers several ways that it is just 2 of us, and that we do everything (marketing, bookkeeping, estimating, material sourcing, etc) ourselves to save on overhead and pass the savings to our customers. Also, we have to BALANCE all those tasks with the sole task that gets us paid: completing projects for customers. It's very difficult and sometimes things fall behind, like estimating. We do our best to keep everyone happy, and there are a LOT of you. ;-)
We bought our house in 2005 and soon noticed that the kitchen floor was sagging a bit. We ignored it for 12 years and then started getting quotes. Malinda gave us a reasonable quote, and said that because of the low clearance in the crawl space, they'd probably have to cut a hole in the kitchen floors. The day of repairs, she double checked things and decided to give jacking it up from the underside a try. It was not a easy task for her at all, it would have been MUCH easier to cut the hole.. The benefit, as she explained, was that the structural integrity remained intact, and we saved some money. The benefit that she didn't mention is that her integrity was shown. I'll be calling this company back up in the near future. Give them a try!

This is not my first time using Home Fix-It Divas. They previously repaired a ceiling which was damaged by a leak from my upstairs neighbor, TWICE. This time the entire condo was painted and several repairs were done. Not only did they begin on time, they actually finished a day early. In doing some of the repairs, Malinda made suggestions for more efficient ways to go. She, Joey and Pedro kept the place livable throughout the painting process. I can't recommend them highly enough. I will use them when I need work in the future.

call to confirm the service that they were coming next day was good 1st impression.Melinda and Joey were on time and my laundry list was completed without issue. I was involved only when needed and educated about the process, treated with kindness and respect.no surprises with the bill.it was fair, straightforward and sensible. They left with a new list from me as I plan to call and use their services again.one of the requests I thought would be a challenge was brilliantly resolved.

My husband, and I, had things done around the house in the past from so called companies who thought their work was good and their prices fair. What a joke. They did a shoddy job and cost an arm and a leg. It's frustrating trying to find someone you trust and who knows what they are doing. We found Malinda on Kudzu and she came out and looked at our list of small projects we needed done. She was honest and her prices were more than reasonable. She started the job on time and did an awesome job. We couldn't be happier. I will be recommending her to everyone I know!

I have recently used Malinda and her team for multiple projects in my home. I couldn't be happier with the results. She is a perfectionist and can handle any project large or small. Have no doubts - this team can get whatever you need done from plumbing to carpentry to painting with outstanding results. You'll want to keep this number in your favorites.
Repaired falling shelves. Fixed plumbing problem that had resulted in damaging the ceiling below. She repaired that too and re-stipled the area exactly - you can't tell a section of the ceiling had been replaced. Painted many rooms. Regrouted a bathroom floor. Moved a refrigerator. Touched up garage ceiling. Installed smoke alarms.

I am a Realtor and constantly on the hunt for a good, reliable, and affordable contractor for my clients. Malinda and her team never disappoint. From a simple punch-out list to a full-scale kitchen reno, Malinda's eye to detail and quality of work is excellent. She is quick to get a quote from, which I appreciate as we are often dealing with tight timelines, and her quotes are accurate from both a pricing and timing standpoint, which I also appreciate. She has a wonderful crew working under her, all of whom have a wealth of experience and are licensed professionals. They are trustworthy, efficient, and skilled. I have recommended Malinda to dozens of clients (and used her personally on my own properties) and have never been disappointed!

We hired Melinda and her crew after using some other "okay" companies as we had to get our house fixed for sale. Hands down, Melinda is the winner! We called everywhere for someone to fix just the end of our driveway and no one would without making us do at least half of it and handyman companies refused to do it. Melinda said they could do it and they did a fantastic job!!!!! We had her fix a leak in our bathroom tub faucet as the house was built int he 60's. All the plumbers over the years said not to do it since they would have to break the wall down ( a tiled wall with no matching replacement tiles from that era) so we left it until we had to do it for the buyer who insisted it be fixed. Melinda said that they restore old houses often and that she was sure they could fix that without breaking the wall down. They did fix it and no wall was broken! She said that many do not want to do the legwork in trying to find old fixture parts and do it the way that is easiest for them and much more expensive for the client. ALL THE OTHER WORK WAS GREAT! The pressure washing of the exterior was SO good no one else ever held a candle to how clean these people got it! The real estate person for the client kept repeating, "so clean. so clean!" She is very reasonable price-wise too. We moved to Woodstock and unfotunately she is too far to come here for any work but do not look any further if you are in her area!!!

Malinda and Josh came in the time frame they told me, which is important to me. They encountered some problems installing my awning (not anything they caused), but were able to work around them. Both are very upbeat, and pleasant to be around. I would recommend their services.

From the original phone call to the completion of the project, Malinda and James were outstanding! Friendly, reliable, fair price, quick, and great craftsmanship. Everything you would want from a service business. We have found our official handyman! Liked Fix-It-Divas so much, they are getting a high recommendation in our community newsletter.

The estimate was competitive, they worked with my schedule, and performed exactly what was quoted. When the job was finished it was obvious that they cared about the outcome and treated my home as if it were theirs. Very, very satisfied and will call on them again in the future. Anyone looking to have handiwork done should give them a try.
