I pre-ordered my Thanksgiving meal thinking it would save me some time. I showed up only to stand in the same line as everyone else. When I got to the front counter after 30 minutes, they had no record of my order and they were temporarily out of the ham that I ordered. Showing them the digital order confirmation did nothing to improve the situation. It sounds callous during hate holidays, but why have the option to preorder if it doesn't mean anything different.
