    Overpriced Mother's Day brunch

Good food for adults, but did not offer a children's menu. Very pricey for both adults & children, food too "gourmet" for children. No indication that Mother's Day was a special menu, and no price posted for it on line. Sins of omission forces a poor overall review. Stay away for holidays unless they change their menu to regular on holidays.

Even though the food, service and quality are great, I would still have to say that the prices are a little high.

A longtime fave that needs an overhaul...

My wife and I had dinner at Horseradish Grill last night. First time we had visited in about three years. We have always enjoyed it in the past, especially for brunch, but it needs some refreshing. The seats in the booth we were seated in were bumpy and uneven, making s both feel like we were sitting in holes. The table itself was wobbly. The food was average at best... nothing really distinguishing about my fired chicken or her Grouper. Kind of bland. Fried green tomatoes for an app were boring, and the chocolate cake for desert was just that- a boring piece of chocolate cake. Nothing outstanding about it. Service was quite good, but the kitchen and interior needs an overhaul to bring back the great restaurant that it has been in the past. $100 should buy you a much more interesting and satisfying meal than we had last night.

Service so bad it can't even make up for good food

Check out the review named "It's a shame the service is terrible" Everything it right on and I am part of the group that will never go back. I like bruch but really didn't want it to take 3 hours. Also - we requested that the fan about the table be turned off twice because it was creating a strobe light effect on the table. It was so bad that even one of the servers said it looked like we were in a club but none of the staff ever actually bothered to do anything about it.

I met my girlfriends here for Sunday Brunch. We are a fairly easy group to take care of as long as the glasses are kept full, we enjoy socializing and don't mind slow service. A few of us are former servers ourselves so we understand how good service is supposed to work. If I said that the service at Horseradish grill was slow, it would be the understatement of the century. It was 30 minutes after we were seated before we could even order water. And then another 20 minutes to milk the diet coke cow before our drinks arrived. It really sucks to pay $2.50 and wait over 45 minutes for a diet coke. The service was nice enough, when they showed up, but we couldn't get over how it took 45 minutes to get biscuits. We were told the biscuits didn't come with the bread basket because they were warming up some fresh ones for us, but when they finally arrived with our meals, they were hard and cold. Nobody ate any biscuits. Gross. Other than one meal that didn't show up until the rest of us were done 25 minutes later, the food itself was actually quite good, the location is very nice, it's just a shame that the service was so poor. Maybe they were understaffed or something, or maybe we were not deamed worthy of good service, who knows. All I know is the 7 of us will not be returning to Horseradish Grill. There are too many good restaurants in Atlanta to waste your time with poor service.

    Really Enjoyed Brunch

I was there for brunch and it was a wonderful experence. The atmosphere was really nice. The brunch menu is small, yet it offers your normal brunch dishes with a twist. I would suggest the cornmeal patty topped with the bbq and spicy coleslaw, it was wonderful. The prices were reasonable, and the valet parking was free. Service was also good. They have a wine list taht you can choose wine by the glass or the bottle. Was not impressed with the dessert menu, however I was too full to eat dessert anyway! I can't wait to visit for dinner.

Tucked away in a small house near chastain park, Horseradish grill prepars some of the best Southern food in town. The bar is posh and always full of life. The ingredients are fresh with many of the herbs and vegetables coming directly from the garden on the back of the property. Whatever you get, be sure to get a side of the mashed potatoes. As a conoisseur, they are easily the best I have ever had.

This place is romantic and fun, if a little off the beaten Buckhead path. It feels like a mountain lodge inside - warm and cozy enough for groups or families and intimate enough for a date. Food is a sort of modern Southern theme, with updated versions of some of your old, rib-sticking favorites.

Depends on the server and whether or not they can control the flies that come in their back door. I love their biscuits and their trout. Desserts are either wonderful or not fresh at all. Weird. All that said, I do like the place!
