The hotel is beautiful but I do not recommend eating at Sheerwater. We took some friends for their engagement and I was not impressed. Overpriced and not quality. I will not be eating there again.

The Hotel Del has such history and still maintains that lavish 30s feel too. It's gorgeous architecture and plenty of places to shop, hang out, get pampered, or just to tour. Plus hanging out on the beach is very nice when you are tired of feeling stuck in the 30s. Although not very budget friendly, unless you want to grab refreshments at the cafe, go window shop and just hang out. If you have money to spend the shopping is great. It's very inviting here. I think an overnight stay here is a must at least once in anyone's lifetime.

The buffet is bar far one of the best I have ever been to. This place is so relaxing and you are in a good mood the moment you walk through the door. If you have never been here, you must go at some point. One of the better perks of living close to it.

You can't help feeling a little bit majestic in this hotel. Very charming and cozy to the last detail. Would love to stay in one of the bungalows next time.

I had my 10th wedding anniversary here and I loved every moment of it! It was a beautiful place and the food was GREAT! I loved listening to the piano man! I wish I could have stayed there forever! I definitely recommend going here.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful landmark hotel a couple of times and I've enjoyed it each time. From it's historical heritage to the beachfront views, it's a great place to stay if you're in the area!

Ok - it's the only place in Coronado that is ocean front.... that's the PRO. The place is OLD, the rooms are small, and the service is not so great. It's a landmark building and I suppose one should stay once.

I have to visit this place at least once a month. Dinner at the Sheerwater is great and my server was excellent! He offered great suggestions and was so friendly. Eating on the patio by the fireplace at sunset is the way to go. If you're there for the summer be sure to go to the sundeck and have a drink. It's a really nice place to relax!

You will fall in love with yourself at the Hotel Del. I live in San Diego and have stayed at the Hotel Del. If you want to experience the magic, romance, and smell vintage, go to the Hotel Del. Just a step away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Coronado, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you try their room service, at least one night, it's the best room service you'll ever have. Oh, and don't be cheap about the location. Make sure you have a 180 view of the ocean, it's worth it.

If you love history, uniqueness and the beauty of Coronado, you cannot go wrong with the Hotel del Coronado. I have stayed here, attended weddings here, and just hung out here - it's always been top notch.

This place is so beautiful. They have restaurants and small stores to go to. The scenery outside is just exquisite. The rooms are little pricey but worth it. Recommended.

Really your paying for the ambiance. The treats were good but the service was only OK. I would try other less expensive places before you go to tea at the hotel del. The hotel is beautiful as always but I was not worth the $38 for tea.....
