I do NOT recommend retaining Miriam Riedmiller at all. She says she is compassionate but she is nothing more than a Lawyer who boxes their clients into a corner and drags out the work and keeps coming back with more and more charges. She refuses to issue invoices instead always saying "...look at the big picture." Her accounting should be done as she goes but instead by not issuing weekly invoices she can get away with hidden charges calling it research. She claims to have an office in DC but instead forces clients to go to her home in Alexandria where she makes the client walk with her while she walks her dog and then bills for that time too. She gets furious at the slightest question about billing to date, paper filing status, and what the overall strategy is. In each case she goes on a tangent and NEVER answers the question but instead belittles the client as if she were the school master. Her fees are off the charts compared to other Attorneys who do the same work. She charged and collected over $15000 when $2500 is what everyone else charges. See the ripoff report spelling her name Reidmiller and you will see.... I am not sure if she has a staff nor is that office in DC for real. Miriam has no shame

I interned with Miriam Riedmiller the summer of 2008. That summer changed my life. Attorney Riedmiller taught me how to serve clients in a professional, ethical, and successful manner. To this day, her straightforwardness, her high ethics, and her thoroughness in handling issues is impressive. Thanks to her, I am now an immigration attorney, and I still look up to her as a model and a standard of professional excellence.

I interned with Ms. Riedmiller a couple of years ago and she is one of the few immigration attorneys I have grown to know that has a very strong knowledge of complex immigration law issues. Not only does she know her field of work but she knows how to speak with her clients, making them understand this complex process. She has a great sense of professional responsibility, judgment, and integrity. She truly cares and gives her best to each individual that walks through her door, clients and interns alike.
