My furnace recently went out on a Sunday. I was not home but my houseguest called this company to come out on a Sunday expecting to get a reasonable service charge. As it turns out we were charged $272 per hour (1.5 hours) to replace a fan blower (a $150 part). Total bill = $770. For that amount we would have turned on the electric heater. We could have gone and stayed at the Captain Cook, had dinner, champagne and waited until Monday and still saved money. When I called the guy to ask about the bill, the guy who answered the phone first tried to let on that he was not the person who went out. Then he later admitted that he was the right person but didn't remember if he had told my houseguest what he was going to charge before he went out. Then he tried to claim that he charges the same amount as everyone else in town - NOT TRUE!!! I called around and some companies do not charge overtime, some only charge a modest call out for Sundays. This guy started yelling at me, told me that if I was one of his regular customers he would not have charged me double. When I told him that I would never call him again if he ripped me off the first time, he yelled somemore and finally hung up on me. DO NOT USE if you value your money!!! Oh, apparently he some kind of a house cleaning business too! I'd be careful about using those services as well.
