I happen to like Island's, granted it's not the most original concept, it's a chain and usually the food is good. But the service here was pretty good by comparison. The parking is busy strip mall terrible, but they seat you quickly. I felt the restaurant was too dark even in the daytime, it was hard to seeing where you were going. They have a large bar set up and tons of seating, mostly booth seating that is cramped. But service is quick and friendly. I'd say if you plan to head to the movies, hit Islands up on your way out. It's a quick walk over.

It's a little pricier than a hamburger should be. The smoothies and drink options are a lot better than one would think, and the meals are quite filling. It's a good place for a late lunch.

The burgers are a bit over priced but they are very, very good and worth it. The tuna sandwich is even very delicious! And try the Spinach and artichoke dip. Possibly some of the best in town. Fast, friendly service too!!

Islands has the biggest burgers you'll ever see in San Diego or anywhere else.....and the fries? Well, if you think you can eat their 2 lb. fries basket by yourself...."fuggidaboudit" unless you are built like the "Governator"....a basket of these will serve 3-4 people EASY!!!! Any of the burgers on the Islands menu will be sure to please....never found one yet that wasn't absolutely DELISH!!!
