Contractor sent email to sub stating he has no intention of paying for the work done. We have now been advised to hire and attorney and file criminal fraud charges, which we plan to do immediately.

I hired J Anderson Construction to renovate the outside of my home...roof,siding,paint, and a deck. They started 2 days later then we were scheduled for but they called and told us. There was a lot of rain that previous week so we understood. everything from when they started when smooth and looks great. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get work done!

This is the second time I have hired this company. They are always pleasant and easy to work with. This time I had them rebuild my front deck. It looks great, I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the never ending 3 day job (8 weeks so far!). Very poor workmanship and an owner who will not respond to phone calls, promises to come and disappears, tells us that he will NOT fix all of the problems, and then threatens us. He said we are the worst customers he's ever had. He said the problems are fine because it's sturdy. This is the front of my house and it cost a good chunk of money.Do NOT use this contractor; you will regret it.

...and unfortunately that isn't much. Everything the other reviewers say is spot on...they are nice...know how to do the job, but execution is just poor. We got the exterior of our house painted and we had to keep on them to clean up the edges, trim, splatters, etc. In the end, we just wanted it over and done with and didn't want to deal with them anymore. There are still things we noticed and felt needed attention but just decided to move on, pay them and consider this a lesson learned. We cannot in good faith recommend them for this kind of work. You will spend most of your time chasing after them to make sure the job is done properly than should be necessary.

the workers that he hires seem to know what they are doing because he does subcontract out his word but him his self I would say is a very young and inexperienced man can't seem to get the job done correctly the first time I would highly suggest trying another company first

Jason is very likable person, unfortunately likability doesn't get the job done. There were just too many things that went wrong on this job to list. Adds up to lack of supervision on Jason's part.In two weeks, neither he nor any supervisory representative showed up on site more than two times. Not even to do THE Final Walk Through, just asked for his payment over the phone. I was there every day and all day the last few days - .. Not the customers job to watch his guys and to make sure they get paid, I also had to do some of the work myself to make sure that the job could get finished, drywall, Paint, cleanup. I mean everything from cleaning lumps of drywall mud off my wood floors and putting all the receptacle covers back on to actually dry-walling my self and so, so much more. His guys were substandard; some of the jobs were not done correctly if done at all. Did he give me money off? Yes, not enough in my option, but I much rather have had the job I thought I agreed on and come back and see it all be done without me, the CUSTOMER having to get involved and do his job. That's why you hire other people to do a job. RIGHT? If he wants to make the excuse of the time of the year, he took the job, he made the commitment. If you want the same quality at a cheaper price, go to homedepot and pick up anyone there who wants work and you will have the same odds of the quality you will find with him, with out half the hassle. Found a live electrical wire inside a walls they repaired.

Took them a few tries to get the job done correctly. It was a smaller job, and I got the feeling that it wasn't that important to them. Folks were nice enough, but I got the 'B team' to do the job...it was pretty obvious. Average.

I talked with Jason over the phone several times including on the weekends and he set me up with two great workers, Ryan and Tyler. They came to my place (in Kennesaw), suggested several designs for my deck/patio, and gave me a free estimate. I don't make a lot of money so a fair price was important to me, as well as a relaxing place to hangout. I got both and they got the job done in two days! I am sure to call on them again for future jobs and renovations.

J Anderson Construction was a pleasure to work with. They were on time to our appointment and gave me an estimate for a new deck the same day. The job took them three days from start to finish. They were very courteous and cleaned the job site every day, which is important because I have two small children. I am very happy with my deck and the service I received from this company!

I called J Anderson Construction to inspect my roof because we had developed a leak in the living room. Jason came out the next day and was very polite and professional. He got up on the roof and did a full roof inspection. He showed me pictures of where he believed the leak was coming from. He scheduled the roof repair for the same day because storms were expected the next day. J Anderson Construction did a great job (our roof hasnt leaked during the last storms) and they went above and beyond to help us get the job done quickly! I would HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again on any future projects.

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend J Anderson construction to anyone. I hired them to redo my bathroom, and to say I am not happy with the end result is an understatement. They were very unprofessional, from not returning my calls, to not sealing the room when they sanded the drywall, resulting in everything in my home getting covered in drywall dust, including my cats! There are signs of sub-par workmanship with nearly everything they touched. For example, when they installed my new exhaust fan, you can see part of the hole they cut out of the ceiling for it, as it was too big of a hole. You can see every seam, and lots of flaws in the drywall. They failed to install escutcheon plates on the plumbing coming from the walls in my shower and toilet. The work is so bad. and they came back to fix things so many times that I finally had enough and told them not to return. I had to hire a plumber to ix some of what they did.The end product is sloppy, and I am disappointed with the results. I would wholeheartedly NOT recommend J Anderson construction to anyone.
