We hired J & L to install our insulation, since a neighbor recommended them. They told us the job would be completed in two days, but amazingly it was completed within 2 HOURS! The two workers that showed up were sloppy, as was their work. There was paint chipped off all around the attic opening as well as dirty walls. Then, when I looked up I saw nails coming through 3 areas in our ceiling, not to mention 2 cracks - one in our living room and another in the dining room. They made so much noise in the attic that it is not surprising they took no care in where they were stepping! After the workers left my husband went into the attic to check the work. (They probably think no one will go in the attic to check the work). Well, the insulation was laid very sloppily over wires and with rough torn edges, the insulation was of a lesser thickness then what was requested, and 3 of the bedrooms were not even insulated!!! They have since corrected the problems in the attic, but are yet to have someone contact us reagrding the repairs to our house. If only the work had been done right in the first place!

I just had my attic insulated. I had three different company's give me estimates. I was shocked to find out that a women came to give me the estimate. She talked to me like a person. Not like I was dumb and I didn't feel pressure like a sales person can make you feel. When the day came to install the insulation, I was very impressed with the two men that did the work. They were very professional. When I asked questions they were there to answer them. They left my house as clean as when they came. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to work with a professional family run company.
